We noticed an issue after we transfer an automatic group to a PU. When a new user is added to the LMS where they would normally be automatically added to a group, this process stalls behind a rule that says the PU must login before the user is placed in the group; and this could take up to 1.5 hours after the PU has logged in. I asked support if this is just a one-time thing or every time a new user is added; I have no reply to that question yet but from what we observed it happens every time. I was hoping to challenge this with the product team as it makes no sense to me that a PU must log in in order for a user to be placed in the proper group(s). Tired to explain that a PU may be away on vacation or leave and if we don’t deliberately fix this, the user remains in limbo until the PU logs in. Seems like very poor logic that will and already caused many issues. They say it works as expected. Has anyone noticed this behaviour? Would love to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks everyone.
