A competitors claims. Removed the name to avoid any flack…what is scary is that without a doubt? folk will buy into these claims. So let’s say you can achieve 91% completion rates. What happened to the other 9%? Did the platform some how magically attrit them?
What boggles me is “the pitch” then to customers “Well, we have the platform to get you there - the rest is on you”. This is worse than saying “you will look cool and strike up more conversations with that new car”.

What do you think? Should learning systems really put out claims like this and be able to get away with it? 🤥

It is all in how you twist things.

I’ve heard that 1 in 10 people suffer from hemorrhoids too but that doesn’t mean that 9 out of 10 get enjoyment from them…

You can upload a video and call it a “course” as well.

Anyone worth their weight should be able to tackle that in 10 minutes.

As for the other 9% - well, hey - not everyone is cut out for academics.

The art of making things sound better than they really are.

Agreed, its what you put out in the content and the engagement from the users that get the results. :)
