VoiceOver Now Part of Our Accessibility Testing 🎉

Hey Docebo Community 👋

We’re pleased to announce a new significant enhancement in our commitment to accessibility! Tests now officially include the use of VoiceOver, the Mac screen reader. This step allows us to cover the three most widely used screen readers - JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver - reaching approximately 90% (WebAIM Survey) of users who rely on screen readers. By adding VoiceOver to our testing, we’re ensuring that a larger group of learners can seamlessly navigate and engage with the Docebo Platform.

You can find more information about our accessibility testing approach in the Docebo Accessibility Statement.

We’re continuously working to make Docebo more inclusive, and this update is a great step forward in that journey!

Sounds like a great additional feature for accessibility.

When will the new VO feature be made available?

Hello @CGeiger
Thanks for the question!

VoiceOver (VO) support is not a new feature being rolled out. Learners can already use VoiceOver (VO) with all features marked as accessible in our Accessibility Conformance Reports (VPAT), available on Docebo Help, as accessibility is natively integrated into the platform.

To clarify, what’s new is that we’ve officially included VoiceOver in our testing, alongside JAWS and NVDA, further strengthening our commitment to providing an inclusive and high-quality user experience.
