Our organization acquired new businesses. Is it possible to add these new employees as users with different emails to Docebo, or do they need our organizations email handle?

There can be restrictions on which domains can self-register (check Admin Center>Advanced Settings, for your set-up), but if you’re adding them I’m pretty sure it can be anything.

@jburris - good afternoon. Like @mzirnhelt is mentioning you can play different games to get to where you need to be.

Start off with aiming to understand how you get people into the system is definitely part 1. If they self register is one thing. If you are looking to bring them into the system as part of an integration or a series of intergrations, then you will probably want to consider other aspects that can sneak up on your instance quickly.

  • you will want to understand if email is being spam-filtered across the acquired businesses
  • if it is and not everyone is in the same domain? You may need to work with your IT to put some entries into a mail filtering network appliance or cloud app and do some configurations in Docebo to support the instance to be seen as legitimate email
  • If you are support an extended enterprise - you may need to go further.
  • you probably will want to consider a branch structure that will support each new business
    • you probably will want to consider the appropriate content for each
    • you probably will want to consider the appropriate left hand menu and access to pages for each
