Hi everyone!
I’m quite new on Docebo and I’m trying to understand how to manage authorizations for letting users answering questions on Courses.

My user profile is Super Admin but I’m wondering how can I let or let not simple users to answering or not.

I hope anyone could help me soon!

Thanks

Claudio

Hi Claudio!

Welcome!!!

I am not exactly sure what you are asking.

Are you looking to create a survey or quiz for a course? If so, you can use that specific type of Training Material in your course and design what you need. A survey wouldn’t be graded but a quiz/test would be.

If that is not what you are looking for, let me know, glad to try to help. Good luck!

Hey @JeanetteMcVeigh thanks a lot for helping me!

My problem is I’d like to know if every degree of user could answer other user’s questions inside a course, or the Super Admin should set an authorization for that.

I hope I wrote it clear… :)

Well, I’ll try.

Are you talking about a Forum widget attached to a course?

I haven’t used that widget yet, but if that is what you are talking about, check out this detail and maybe you can find what you are looking for. https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020125679-Managing-the-Course-Layout-and-Content#:~:text=Forum%20Widget

But basically, if you use that widget, learners can ask questions and others can interact.

If that is not it, let me know… :-)

Thank you very much Jeanette!
It seems that every user can comment or ask a question and every user can answer, period. There’s no way to choose, as a Super Admin, who can answer to those questions.

😊

@Claudio Becoming yes, while anyone can answer a question, only the assigned instructor or admin can manage or moderate the discussion.

Thanks a lot @lrnlab !

Now my thoughts are clearer!

happy to help.
