Morning all,

I am having a complete mind blank today and need reminding of something…

I have 2 courses that new starters need to complete, but the second one only has to be completed by lawyers, not all new starters.  I have added the first course to the enrolment rule that automatically allocates the mandatory courses to all new starters - that is fine.  I want to have the second course automatically allocate to lawyers only once they have completed the first course, but can’t for the life of me remember how to do it!

HELP!

Hi @Neil Patterson ,

the easiest way is to use Learning Plans:

  1. Create the Learning Plan;
  2. Associate the Courses;
  3. Set the prerequisites https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020083980-Creating-and-Managing-Learning-Plans#subtitle-6
  4. Associate the Users (of a specific cluster or group);
  5. Done!

If you don’t want to use the Learning Plans you can use Groups and Enrollments Rules:

  1. Create a Group “Course 1 Completed” that has the condition: “Enrollment status based conditions”.
  2. Select the “Course 1” and the “Completed” status and Save Changes. The group will include all users who have completed the "Course 1". If you want you can set more stringent rules that only a certain cluster of users can be associated with the group;
  3. Create a new Rule selecting the Group “Course 1 Completed” and the new course “Course 2”: https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020128579-Activating-and-Managing-the-Enrollment-Rules-App
  4. Pay attention to assign the correct Resources;
  5. Remember to “Activate the Rule”;
  6. Done!

Hope this could help.

Hey @modonetwork - that was it!  I remember seeing the “enrollment status” condition somewhere.  Forgot you create the separate group.  I try and steer clear of learning plans if I can 😀

Thanks for your help!
