Hello Wise Community,

We launch new ILT offerings quarterly by adding sessions to existing course shells and creating new course shells for brand-new courses. This quarter, we’re also updating the titles of some existing courses.

I’m curious how you all handle this type of change. From a data and reporting perspective, is it preferable to:

  • Create new course shells with the updated titles
  • Update the titles in the existing course shells and continue using them

I’d love to hear your insights—thanks in advance!

Best,

Cat

Either can work depending on what you need in your reports. If you are very strict I would say create a new course; if not so strict you can change the title (keep the code the same if you can for continuity) and maybe create a custom field to track the the title change (old name, date changed, etc.)
