Hey there!

I’m importing events into sessions via CSV and can’t figure out what to enter in the Zoom v3 fields to get the import to work without errors. If you’ve successfully imported events with Zoom v3 via CSV, could you share a sample CSV file with me?

I’ve done plenty of imports using a custom video conferencing tool with no issues, but Zoom v3 is giving me trouble. Manually creating events with the Zoom v3 settings works just fine, but when I try to import via CSV, I get an error about the “zoom_v3_account_id.” From what I’ve learned, I need to check the Zoom v3 settings and look at the URL to find this number. In my case, I had two test accounts, but the one that actually works is account 3. Even Docebo Support told me to use “3”—but I’m still hitting an error.

Any ideas? Would love any insights you’ve got!

🤦‍♂️

Woop! I finally got it to work!

@markbrumley how did you get the Password field to work? I’ve been trying to import for an hour now and it keeps getting stuck on the Password parameter regardless of what I try.

  • Tried omitting the value
  • Tried submitting an empty field
  • Tried submitting created passwords
  • Tried pulling a password from another Zoom instance and recreating following its structure

“Invalid parameter ‘password’”

@willingworth This is what worked for me:
webinar_tool = zoomv3meeting

password = check your Zoom account password settings for the requirements. Like you said, try an existing password from a previous Zoom.

zoom_v3_account_id = 3 (Our ID is 3 because we created two test versions and settled on number 3)

zoom_v3_host = five-digit user ID only found when running a report. I’m not sure why this ID is so hard to find.

Thanks for the follow-up. I eventually got it to work.

The Zoom integration was smart enough to not allow any kind of pattern-based passwords. I tried so many different combinations before I just generated 63 unique passwords for my 63 meetings. I guess it’s good that it’s secure, but the process does not communicate to the sysadmin exactly what’s wrong so it took a lot of guess work to get through. Thanks for the help
