There are many ways to do this.

  1. do not place the course in any catalogues the users can see and assign the group directly
    1. you can also set the catalogue option to only show to enrolled users
  2. create a catalogue that only those users have access to and allow them to self-enrol, etc.
  3. create a group and enrolment rule for only those users and specific courses
    1. ensure you do not place the same course(s) in any catalogues that others can view/access
  4. Require admin approval to be enrolled
    1. users who want to enrol with have to be approved by an admin so you can curate who should and shouldn't be enrolled, etc.

Probably some other creative ways to do this but hopefully you’ll find an option that works for you.

Hi @Rachael!

The easiest way to accomplish this is to put the course in a catalog, and then give visibility to the audience you want to have access. You can give access to selected users, selected groups, and selected branches. You can also give access to any combination thereof.

For example, we just published a course that I wanted to make visible to a specific branch of our org chart (an entire department). Someone reminded me that he needed access to that course because, while he’s in a different department, he works with them quite a bit. I was able to give catalog visibility to the whole branch plus the one-off user.

Here’s a Knowledge Base article on how to use catalogs: https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020125439-Activating-and-managing-catalogs
