Good afternoon, 

 

I am getting very confused with enrolment CSV’s. As our go-live date is approaching I would really like to master this, rather than manually having to enrol staff onto 100s of ILT courses. 

 

I have tried 5 different times and each time I try it gives me a different reason for failing which I have then fixed and sorted. Now it when I go to upload the CSV it tells me I have 28 lines of data on my spreadsheet to import, which is very wrong considering there are only 2?

 

Is this a glitch? or is there a fix? I have been trying with different spreadsheets and it keeps giving me bigger numbers for the same 2 enrolments and I am getting really confused!

I see that all the time with the user CSV import...if you just deleted data by hitting the “delete” key, it somehow leave a remnant in the file. To get around this, I delete the actual rows and that always fixes this issue.

Lrnlab pinpointed the issue here, but a word of encouragement: “CSV imports get better.”

We went live about a year ago, and I struggled for the first half of the year with error logs because I was always missing something.

The muscle memory will come. You’ll get there!
