Excluding Groups from a Group

Hi all, I’m fairly new to Docebo so bear with me.

I’m looking at creating Groups and I’m surprised that there’s no exclude option for any of the conditions. Ideally I’d like to have the ability to exclude a Group from a Group. Is this possible? If not, does anyone have any workarounds. I’m hoping to avoid the need to create large numbers of complex groups?

Thanks

Martin

Agree with what @Bfarkas said - you’ll have to create all the various group scenarios instead of relying on an all BUT concept. Bit more work to set them all up that way but it’s the only way right now. Happy grouping! 😆

We are experiencing the same challenge, would be great to hear if this is indeed possible

Yeah, its an issue for sure, there are a bunch of ideas to vote for for exclusion rules. Complex and many groups is generally the way now unfortunately.

Thanks for your responses. Unfortunatly not what I wanted to hear 🙁. I’ll get voting for anything that mentions exclusions.

Agreed!  The only solution is to do individual sets with the exclusion.

Hi, I see these replies are from a year ago. Has there been any change that anyone can recommend for a better workaround for this issue?  Seems like this functionality should be standard for groups.

Thanks.
