We are using iframe with Google Forms into an E-learning course for a skills assessment and there are multiple forms to fill out. This gives the user more flexibility to go back in and out to complete each section but unless they click on this SUBMIT button at the bottom of the form. Unfortunately, once they open up each section, there’s a notification from Docebo in the platform that says they’ve completed the section successfully - and that’s not messaging we want them to see. Is there a way to turn that off?

It sounds to me like you’re embedding these Google Forms as HTML training material in Docebo. Unfortunately, as you’ve noticed, that type of training material is always marked as complete as soon as it loads.

Do you have Articulate Rise or some other e-learning authoring tool? If so, it should be possible (and fairly quick) to embed your forms within a SCORM package, which would give you more control over triggering the completed state (although it may still not be perfect).

Unfortunately, the data output from SCORM tests is not easy to work with and manipulate, so we abandoned that idea. We need to do a lot with the info gathered and Google Forms output is much more flexible. Is that something you’ve been successful with, getting data easily from SCORM?

Sorry, I should have been clearer. I meant to keep the Google Forms but embed them within a Rise Course instead. That way it won’t be marked as complete until the user has clicked through the whole “course".

Definitely not perfect but this is how I’ve approached e.g. collecting course feedback in the past. It’s admittedly a slightly different use case, but instead of adding a Docebo survey to the training materials (which creates its own dilemma re: the completed state, and generally doesn’t look that great either), we embedded a Typeform survey within each Rise course. It looked like it was part of the course, and response rates were much better.
