Could someone confirm if the behaviour of my Learning Plan is to be expected, or have I done something wrong please?
Setup
- I created a Learning Plan containing 5 ILT courses (all published, in catalogue, etc..)
- The 5 ILT courses have 3 or 4 Sessions each with a mix of online or venue events on different dates, scheduled through a whole year essentially
Unexpected Behaviour
- when a learner looks at the learning plan to check out the course, not enrolled yet, only the first course and it’s sessions and events are able to be viewed
- opening any other course does not show the sessions and events available
- this means a learner cannot tell if the course is going to be viable for them as they cannot see all the events.
- In reading help pages and the AI summary result from some searches it suggested that people use a work around listing all the dates in the learning plan …..
I’m at a loss to work out how to fix this as I would expect the ability to view all the sessions across all the courses in a learning plan in the preview state before enrolling as pretty normal and expected to be possible.
In the end I have had to ditch the use of the learning plans as I cannot have the course sessions and subsequent event dates and formats hidden from view. Hoping I have done something wrong, or there is a trick to fix this as it seems so stupid that they cannot be viewed.
