Good afternoon,

I was wondering, is there a way in which we can stop a member of staff having multiple Sessions booked for the same course?

Whilst we have been testing pre-go live I have noticed that we have had staff being booked on two sessions with two different dates for the same course. Is there an option to prevent double booking? We have a large team that deals with the bookings so sometimes there is overlap of requests.

Thank you!

Since users cannot book themselves into more than 1 session per course, I assume this would have been done by your admins. Since an admin can override that limitation for users, only way to control this would be limit who can manage session enrolments via the power user permissions or communicating with your admins that they would need to check for any previous bookings before adding a user to another session. This can easily be viewed on the Enrolments tab > the Sessions column will show if a user is booked in more than single session,. Alternatively you can run some reports to get that so you can clean it up.

Hi @EGBIGGS, I agree with @lrnlab. In addition we had power users responsible for enrollment in ILT sessions. Once a user is enrolled in the course, you cannot stop enrollment in a session. Our users are typically enrolled in the course via a Learning Plan.

We would back date the Session > Self Enrollment deadline to 2 days before the session was created.

Best of luck with the launch!
