"New" on every course tile

Wondering if anyone else is having this issue. 

Every single course in our course catalog says “new” on the course tile. These are not courses that are in the “New Course” catalog. It’s stumping me.

Hi @zoe.johannsen this is indeed confusing, as the label doesn't have anything to do with when the course was published/updated.

This label is functioning more as an unread indicator for users, where “NEW” means that the particular user hasn’t yet opened/enrolled in the course (even if the course was published a few years ago).

 

This was already discussed, and there are are some tips on how to hide it using CSS in this thread:
