Observation Checklist not going to manager

We are trying to roll out use of an observation checklist in one of our new courses.

The staff member will have to complete an e-learning course (SCORM) then upload a certificate into an assignment area which will come to Super Admins for approval. Once that has been approved the checklist should then push out to the manager to fill out and then approve but it doesn't seem to push out and I cant figure out why.

I did have it working originally but when going back to do some re-testing it seems to have broken.

The only thing I can think that seems to be wrong is when I am in the course shell and open the checklist settings every time I set the checklist observer to Manager and save it, it says it saved but when I go back in it has reset and is now blank.

Can anyone figure out what I'm doing wrong?

When you say push out the manager, am thinking that when the checklist is inside a course, not suer how that would prompt the Manager (observer) who is not taking the course to complete it. Did you try to schedule it outside the course?

We are having a similar issue on our instance as well. They’ve just escalated it to their Tier 2 Support Team.

We are having the same issue. I have not yet isolated and tried the solution suggested by @lrnlab. I’ll do that now. But it seems like if an observation is allowed as a training material within an course then it should push to the users it says it will push to.
