We received many questions during the live event that we answered live, however, below are a few of the ones we weren’t able to answer during the live session. You’ll also find a PDF attached to the bottom of this post will all remaining questions.

Q. Any updates around making the import of content from the content marketplace to Docebo smoother?

  1. Yes, improvements to the content import flow expected in early 2025 should address this. 

 

Q. Is Headless Learning an add on?

  1. Yes! Headless Learning is a part of our Headless Learning Pack which is sold separately. Please reach out to your CSM/AM for more details. 

 

Focus Mode 

Question Answer
How does the Course Player Focus Mode interact with browser caching (if at all)? We currently have issues where courses aren't cached correctly and the user loses all of their progress instead of resuming where they left off. The focus mode should not change the interaction behaviour with browser caching. If you have any issue, please open a support ticket.
Have there been posts as to how to remove the ability for ANY employee to mark a course as outdated? We have added specific HTML classes to each element of the new pages, and the "Mark as Outdated" option is one of them.

With custom CSS, it's possible to remove them entirely.
How does focus mode change the experience for tests? We have noticed tests have been changed with the new course player changes. The experience shouldn’t change much other than having the full screen, undistracted view. The test functionality will remain the same.
How is focus mode different from the setting to launch the course player directly and how do you hide the next course buttons? The "Next" and "Previous" lessons buttons are dynamic and only appear when a course contains multiple training materials. However, the buttons have specific HTML classes and can be forcibly hidden using custom CSS.
Does focus mode strip away the renew certification options that have been added to the course player window? The focus mode will allow users to view certifications earned upon course completion and provide the option to renew them via a specific icon button in the header.
Is focus mode compatible with accessibility requirements? Yes, it has been designed to be fully accessible!
Why can a learning plan not have a training material directly tagged to it? This is related to how training materials, courses and learning plans were designed originally. We are currently exploring ways to achieve this long term. Stay tuned!
How can I see which courses are in the learning plan when using focus mode? Clicking on a learning plan card always redirects you to the Overview page, where you can view your progress and the structure of the learning plan. Once you start or resume training, the header under the course title indicates your position (course number) within the learning plan. To view the entire learning plan structure, you can click the X button to be redirected back to the overview page.

 

Docebo University - ILT, Docebo Pro & Inspire 2025

How do you earn learning credits in Docebo University? Learning Credits may be purchased through the platform or by contacting your account manager. For reward opportunities from Docebo, please become a member of our Champions Hub!
How do we find out how many learning credits we have to spend on ILT training? To check your available learning credits, click the coins icon in the header of your Docebo platform. This will display your current balance. For detailed information on transactions and available packs, select “Access my wallet.”

You can use your learning credits to purchase Instructor-Led Training (ILT) sessions directly within Docebo University. If you need additional credits, they can be purchased through the platform or by contacting your account manager.
Can we purchase the Docebo Pro without buying credits? The Docebo Pro Certification is only available through learning credits. If you have Premium Support, you may already have credits available for use.
Is there going to be an online session for Inspire? Like in 2023?

No, we will not be offering virtual tickets to Inspire.

Inspire 2025 will be exclusively an in-person event.

There were many questions around the new enrolment priority functionality as well but I can’t see any of those addressed? 

It would be helpful to share all Q+As because I did not read through all of them during the webinar to see the answers as they came in, and other questions that were asked I was also interested to learn the answer. 

For the My Transcripts feature - will there soon be an option for Power Users and/or Managers to pull these without having to impersonate the user?

Hi folks, reading the messages loud and clear and I would like to clarify that the Q&A was quite large. We had feedback that (some) people/companies can’t access google sheets so we posted a consolidated version above for now and are working on a way to package up the whole lot for you all (in a PDF possibly).
