| Why is making a mandatory choice required in multiple-choice questions, preventing use as a survey with optional selections? | We designed this feature as a knowledge check to engage learners. For surveys, we recommend using Learning Evaluation. |
| Will Docebo Creator help with changing applied brands (colors, typography, logos) across learning materials efficiently? | Within Creator, you can manage branding and design elements such as color, typography, and logo. |
| Can SCORM packages be downloaded from Creator? Can SCORM content be translated within Creator? | Not currently, but this functionality is being evaluated for Q4 2025. |
| Will the global search be able to search for Creator content? | Yes. Published training materials created using Creator appear in xAPI format, and can be surfaced by searching just like any other published training material on the platform. |
| Can videos, PowerPoints, or PDFs be uploaded as source material to AI-generate lessons in Creator? | Not yet. However, this functionality will be coming this Spring. |
| How do you manage settings so learners must complete a screen before moving to the next? | Currently, Creator doesn't offer a way to prevent learners from advancing between pages. |
| Are there planned enhancements to integrate HTML pages with interactive on-click actions in Creator lessons? | We don't currently offer this functionality, but integrating HTML pages with interactive actions in Creator lessons is coming this year along with interactive flashcards and sentence matching. |
| Is Creator included at the current cost, or is there an extra cost associated with its use? Is it free to all customers through the end of the year, and then a paid feature? | All customers on New pricing Tiers have unlimited Creator seats for SAs and PUs permanently starting April 8, 2025. All customers on Legacy Pricing receive unlimited Creator seats until the end of 2025. To keep access to Creator after 2025, they will need to migrate to the New Pricing Model. |

| Will the translation element work with SCORM files? | SCORM files are currently not supported. |
| Which dialect of Spanish is used for translation? | The translations are provided in standard Spanish, which is widely understood across Spanish-speaking countries. We are looking into adding Mexican/US Spanish in Q3. |
| How accurate are the translations? | Docebo leverages AWS Translate for translations, that ensures the quality of translations through a comprehensive approach that includes leveraging state-of-the-art Machine Learning (ML) and rigorous testing protocols. |
| What translation software is used? | The translations are evaluated based on several key performance indicators (KPIs), including accuracy, fluency, contextual integrity, and the ability to preserve HTML tags and structure within translated content. |
| How is translation quality validated? | Docebo's AI-powered translation will support custom dictionaries for custom terminology starting Q3. This feature will allow users to create their own dictionary to make the AI aware of custom terminology. However, when AI generates a translation, the user can always review and edit AI-generated translations within the authoring editor, ensuring the accuracy and appropriateness of the content. |
| Does the translation have a glossary for adjustments? | The system supports manual translation adjustments. |
| Is translation for materials built in Docebo, like HTML Pages and Assessments? | Translation is currently supported in Learning Evaluations, the base platform UI. Currently, this is not part of HTML pages and Assessments Training Materials. |
| What languages can it be translated into, including Malay? | Malay is one among a large and growing list of supported languages. The full list of supported languages is available on this KB article List of supported languages |
| Can Creator point at SCORM content from Articulate Storyline and Rise 360 for translation or quiz development? | Not currently. But you can combine a Creator lesson and/or a Creator quiz, for example, with a SCORM as separate training materials in a single course or learning plan. |
| Can we be sure sensitive documents won't be used to train the AI or shared externally? How safe is organizational proprietary and HIPAA information within the Creator tool? Where does data go from prompts used to create the course? What are the data security features? | Content is securely stored in an AWS S3 media bucket. For more information, see https://trust.docebo.com/. |
| Are layout changes with custom images or CSS styles feasible in Creator lessons? | You can manage branding and design elements such as color, typography, and logo within the Creator tool. Additionally, you can customize the layout of your lessons by moving or adjusting elements on the page, embedding images or videos. As of today, it's not possible to apply custom CSS to further tailor the appearance of your content. |
| If something is created during the free availability period, is it accessible forever, even without long-term commitment? | If you create content using Docebo Creator during the free availability period, you will retain access to that content even after the period ends, provided you do not make a long-term commitment. This means that any training materials developed with Creator during this time will remain accessible to you indefinitely, even if you choose not to continue with a paid plan after the free period concludes |
| Is there specific reporting on questions and answers within Creator? Is there reporting on assessment results at a question level? | Currently Creator doesn't support score reporting. We're working on making reporting at the course level available. |
| Is there a way to get assessment data in bulk, rather than viewing results one-by-one? | Completion is tracked but not score within the Course level report. Platform level Training material report will also provide completion information |
| Is there a plan to integrate an AI chatbot to help users source training lessons? | Yes, Docebo is enhancing its platform to help users source training content more intuitively through AI-driven innovations. AI Neural Search (available Summer 2025) will enable users to find relevant content using natural, conversational queries, improving accuracy and ease of discovery. In parallel, Harmony, Docebo’s AI copilot, will begin rolling out in Summer 2025, providing real-time assistance, automating admin tasks, and delivering personalized learning support. These features are part of Docebo’s broader strategy to create a seamless, AI-first learning experience. |
| Are avatars customizable for branding purposes? Can the AI avatar be adjusted in size? | Not today, we are working on adding more customization options for AI Video presenter during 2025. For example, it will be possible to customize the background and leverage a larger library of avatars. |
| Are there plans to create a more dynamic video creator with graphics, text, and voice-over? | Yes, Docebo has plans to create a more dynamic video creator that includes graphics, text, and voice-over capabilities. | When creating content, does the AI pull information from other sources, or only from the information provided? | In the spring, we'll allow AI to pull from your content for the course creator. For content re-phrasing see this article. |
| Is there a way to extract content for regulated industries that need legal/regulatory approvals? | Not currently. Later this year, there will be a multi-user collaboration option. But we don't allow for formal approvals from legal or regulatory authorities. |
| Who has access to Creator? SuperAdmins? Power Users? | Superadmins, or Power Users with appropriately configured permissions only. |
| Can you pause video midway to have assessment questions pop up? | You can pause a video, but the assessment will appear on another page. Page progression remains linear. |
| Can Creator create videos for use in other authoring tools like Articulate Rise or Storyline? | Creator outputs xAPI, and isn't currently configured to create video for use in other authoring tools. |
| Will a quick video tour be available soon for power users? | Great news! We've created a video course in Docebo University for this purpose. You can also view the demo from the archived recording of the DU Live session on Creator. |
| Can you share more about the 30-minute limitation for the AI video feature? Is the limit per user, per instance, or does it reset monthly? | Every customer is allotted 30 minutes of AI video recording per platform for 2025. Time is added when content is generated. If you exceed the allotted 30 minutes of presentation time with an AI presenter, you can purchase more time from your Account Manager. |
| Do we need to QC the AI Avatar script for correct pronunciation? | We are constantly refining the AI Avatar pronunciations. While the vast majority of words will sound flawless, we're training the AI to improve its articulation of words like Docebo! |
| Will it be possible to upload a recorded ILT session and turn it into AI e-learning? | Not currently. For the foreseeable future, PDF, Word, and Powerpoint will be the supported inputs. You can load videos upto 1 GB in a page. |
| Is video creation with avatars using the Synthesia program? | We use a different tool than Synthesia. |
| Is there an option to hide the avatar but keep the AI voice? Can you add your own media to the video? | No, you can't hide avatars. You can load your own video upto 1 GB. The ability to add voiceover assets is coming in the Summer. |
| Can Creator only translate new content, or also existing content already uploaded into Docebo? | Translation happens exclusively within the Creator tool itself. Learning Evaluation has survey translation options. |
| Can the translator be adjusted after initial translation, and does the system learn from those adjustments? | The AI tool learns from the translations. You have the ability to correct the translations after they've been generated. |
