Thank you to everyone who attended our January 2026 Product Release Series webinar on What’s New in Docebo. If you missed it, you can catch it here on demand.
We got a lot of great questions during the live event. While we answered many on the spot, there were some we couldn’t get to. Below you’ll find the first batch of those remaining questions, and we’ll be adding more updates next week.
| Question | Answer |
| Hi! Can you drop a link to the release notes here? | The Release Notes are published in Docebo Help here: https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/19807231971474-Product-updates |
| Are these tools for all packages? Can they also be broken down by price point packages? Thanks! | The release overview covers the full Learning Platform. For package- or pricing-specific details, please contact your Customer Success team. |
| Anything known to affect custom CSS pages in this release? | Yes, there is a known area to be aware of. For Docebo Content by OpenSesame, we’re updating the admin content details page. If you’ve applied custom CSS specifically to that page, you may see minor visual impacts—such as colors not fully respecting custom selections or small misalignments of buttons and overlays. This is consistent with what we’ve seen in previous LSM design updates. Any issues can typically be resolved through CSS adjustments, and Docebo Support can assist if needed. |
| Was that first slide implementations just for January, or what is coming over the year? | The webinar covers January releases only. For future releases and roadmap updates, subscribe to the Product Updates page here; https://community.docebo.com/product-updates |
| In creator, will we eventually be getting AI images? It would be great if we could not only create images, but if we use AI to create a lesson, that it can also add images to it. | Yes, this is an active area of development for Creator. We’re working on AI image generation both as a standalone capability and as part of AI-assisted lesson creation, so content can automatically include relevant visuals. These enhancements will roll out progressively over the coming months. |
| Has the SAML porting been moved to a different rollout date? I thought this was also due to be released in Jan 26. | Yes. During the final phase of development, we identified a potential issue that could have affected some login experiences, so the release was postponed. We’ll keep you updated on the new release timeline as soon as it’s confirmed. |
| Are there any enhancements planned for reporting/analytics. | Yes—enhancements to reporting and analytics are coming. You can expect: Expanded Learn Insights dashboards, including interactive views such as Observation Checklists / Insights dashboards, giving you a single place to track completions, overdue items, and bottlenecks, with data available for export. Pre-set dashboard filters, so key dashboards open with relevant filters already applied—reducing manual setup and helping teams get to the right data faster. New analytics experiences in Harmony Copilot, including a dedicated Harmony Analytics agent (Conversational Insights) that lets admins ask natural-language questions about enrollments, completions, in-progress learners, and trends—without building reports or dashboards. |
| Hi, do you know when Harmony search will be expanded to the Go1 Content library? | We presently do not support Go1 and OpenSesame in Harmony Search. |
| When can we anticipate a pricing model for the AI Coach? Cool feature but now that there is a cost, harder to get buy-in. | Pricing for AI Virtual Coaching is part of the AI Credits System, which is already live. https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/31318530800786-AI-credit-system-overview This system applies to a small set of advanced, infrastructure-intensive AI features: AI Virtual Coaching, AI Content Builder, and AI Video Presenter. Credits tie usage directly to the infrastructure and value required to deliver AI-driven experiences. For AI Virtual Coaching specifically, credits are only consumed when learners take simulations, not when simulations are created or configured. This ensures costs are driven by actual learner engagement rather than setup or experimentation.Rather than a flat fee, this approach allows customers to pay only for the advanced AI capabilities they actively use. For pricing specifics or to discuss how this impacts your account and internal buy-in, your Customer Success team can walk through the details. |
| Is AI virtual coaching available for everyone, or is it this an add-on product? | As part of our broader investment in AI, a small set of high-cost, infrastructure-intensive features—AI Virtual Coaching, AI Content Builder, and AI Video Presenter—moved to a credit-based model starting in January. Credits are purchased as a one-time add-on and are consumed based on actual use. For AI Virtual Coaching specifically, credits are consumed only when learners take simulations, not when simulations are created or configured by admins. Credits are valid for the duration of the contract term, with one rollover permitted at renewal. Importantly, most Creator functionality remains included as before; only the most resource-intensive AI capabilities draw from credits. The intent of this model is to provide flexibility, align costs with real usage, and support sustainable long-term investment in advanced AI features. For AI Virtual Coaching specifically, credits are only consumed when learners take simulations, not when simulations are created or configured. |
| Can we have the 'Show page info boxes' OFF as default PLEASE? | Currently, the Show Page Info setting is natively enabled by default. As a workaround, it’s possible to hide these pop-ups using custom CSS, though this isn’t guaranteed across all browsers or future UI updates. If this behavior changes in the future, your Account Team can confirm. |
| Is AI Virtual coaching already set up in the Sandbox? | Yes. It will be available on all installations starting January 28. |
| How long will the simulation answers stay in the system? | Simulation reports remain available to learners indefinitely, so they can return at any time to review their feedback. |
| I’m in my admin menu and do not see these. | It will be available on January 26th on all installations |
| Can we tailor how AI Harmony should perform for a particular company, I work in a very regulated industry and we want to customize it based on the guardrails we have. | Harmony Search generates answers based on the content available within your platform. For regulated environments or additional governance needs, we recommend working with your Customer Success team to review your specific use case. |
| if we don't have AI coach enabled, would that option be hidden in creator? | Yes. If AI Virtual Coaching is disabled, the associated flows and options within Creator will be disabled as well. |
| Something missing from Creator is text-to-speech WITHOUT an avatar. We use Articulate for larger trainings, but for shorter/easier trainings we would like to use Creator. However, the team won't use it because there is no text-to-speech only. Any information on when that would be available? | Yes. We’ve started development on this capability. Our current target is March/April 2026, though timing may adjust as development progresses. |
| Could I create an AI scenario that demonstrates group behaviors or is it just one on one. | Today, AI Virtual Coaching scenarios are one-on-one. Group-based scenarios aren’t supported yet. This is a compelling use case, and we encourage sharing more context and examples in the Community to inform future explorations. |
| As a learner, how can I review the feedback report after exiting the scenario? | Learners can return to the lesson at any time and access their feedback report. Additional learner-facing enhancements around review and feedback are planned for upcoming releases. |
| Can you make the avatar more agitated? | Yes. Within the AI Virtual Coaching scenario builder, you can select predefined characters and adjust character attitudes to influence tone and behavior. |
| Can the simulated scenarios be exported as videos to be used as examples in training content? | No. Scenarios are not saved as video recordings, primarily due to data privacy and compliance considerations. |
| Could you elaborate on known minor impacts to custom CSS pages please | The most common impacts are color mismatches or slight misalignment of UI elements such as buttons and overlays. These issues are specific to customers using custom CSS on the OpenSesame admin content details page and can typically be resolved with CSS updates via Support. |
| For the AI Virtual Coaching feature, what reporting will be available to managers so they can see how their users are progressing in their learning? Our managers want to be able to access the recordings, AI-generated evaluations, and transcripts. | We’re actively working on this. Initial reporting capabilities are planned for later in Q1, with more comprehensive reporting, including deeper insights and evaluations, planned for Q2. |
| What is the "Cost per Use" for the AI Coach? I.e. for a single learner to use the AI coach, if they take the same Coaching module is there an additional Cost | Pricing for AI Virtual Coaching is part of the AI Credits System, which is already live. https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/31318530800786-AI-credit-system-overview. Credits tie usage directly to the infrastructure and value required to deliver AI-driven experiences. For AI Virtual Coaching specifically, credits are only consumed when learners take simulations, not when simulations are created or configured. If a learner repeats the same coaching module and starts a new scenario, credits are consumed again because each scenario is generated in real time and treated as a new experience. For pricing specifics or to discuss how this impacts your account and internal buy-in, your Customer Success team can walk through the details. Please consult with your customer success team for applicable pricing. |
| We have a call centre and our trainees never interact with a person face-to-face - are there any features that fit an audio-focused environment? Also, how percise can the AI coach be - can they be agitated, only use specific terms our users use, etc.? | Yes. AI Virtual Coaching supports three interaction modes, designed to match different types of work environments and training needs. Chat- and voice-based simulations are ideal for teams that primarily operate through email, messaging, or phone-based interactions. New video-based simulations are best suited for roles that rely heavily on in-person or face-to-face conversations, where body language and presence matter. Across all three modes, the experience can be highly customized. Scenarios can be tailored by role, tone, and character behavior, to reflect real-world interactions. |
| When will Power Users get access to Harmony Copilot? | Harmony Copilot access for Power Users is coming. The team is actively developing this, and it’s planned to roll out in the next few months, with access scoped by each Power User’s existing permissions and assigned resources. |
| Is Harmony able to answer questions that are asked from courses created by the admin? | Yes—Harmony can answer questions based on admin‑created course content, both through Harmony Search for learners and the Harmony Copilot sub‑agent for admins. |
| Hello, is the Harmony Analytics Agents only available to Super Admin or also available to PowerUsers? | Yes. Harmony Copilot is currently limited to Superadmins. Expansion to Power Users is in progress. |
| Are their any plans to also make Harmony AI credits-based? | No. At this time, there are no plans to make Harmony credit-based. Only AI Virtual Coaching, AI Content Builder, and AI Video Presenter use credits. |
| How do we join the Harmony Copilot Conversational Analytics beta? | Please contact your Customer Success Manager or Account Manager. |
| When will the 'Insights' interactive dashboard be accessible to power users? | Insights dashboards can already be assigned to Power Users. https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/21635520088978-Assigning-dashboards |
| How do I get Harmony on to my account? | From the Admin Menu, open the Artificial Intelligence app and activate Harmony from there. |
| Is Harmony copilot still for superadmins only? Are the plans to make it available to powerusers? Of course it would limit the information to tasks the powerusers could do | Yes, Superadmin-only today. Power User access is coming and will be permission-aware. |
| Regarding Harmony as a learner I love that it pulls from courses and provides sources. Are there plans to add API's to ingest information outside of the LMS such as a KB? | Yes. We’re currently running a Developer Portal beta focused on technical documentation. A new APIs portal is planned next, which will enable deeper AI and API integrations. |
| Are there any plans to update a useable Calendar feature? Rather than just having a calendar to view, have one more like Blackboards calendar where trainer can put important dates, etc. Especially with ILT courses coming. | We’re aware of current limitations. We encourage submitting ideas and tracking in the Community, which we actively monitor when shaping roadmap priorities. |
| Will we be able to link external certificates in Docebo courses? | Yes. External certificates can be linked through Credly or Accredible integrations via Docebo Connect. If you are using one of these integrations, you’re already set up to support this. |
| For the restricting settings for power users, will you need to go into each course one by one and assign the permissions for power users? | Yes. You can do it one by one via the UI, or do it in bulk via APIs (so you don’t necessarily need to manually touch every course if you’re using API-driven admin processes). |
| Do all of the people selected need to approve though, or can 1 of the group approve? | When multiple observers/approvers are assigned, all of them can review and contribute, but the workflow does not require everyone to complete the action. Only one observer submits the checklist for approval, and only one approver completes the final approval action. |
| Also, is there any plan to modernize the certificate editor tool? | We recognize the certificate editor would benefit from modernization. However, certificates are not on the near-term roadmap because they are closely tied to the broader New Certifications initiative. Improvements are planned as a follow-up phase once the new certification foundation is in place. |
| Are there plans on the roadmap to allow those who use the Creator Editor to copy entire Lessons (rather than copy-and-paste each individual text box and image on a lesson page to a new lesson page)? | Yes. Additional duplication and template capabilities are planned for Q2. Customers are encouraged to join the Creator PDG in the Community to share requirements and feedback. |
| Can you clarify if all of those people have to approve the checklist or is it multiple people who can approve it? To clarify, is the action of approving done multiple times or by who ever gets to it first? | Only one final approval is required. Multiple reviewers can contribute, but approval happens once. |
| Is it possible to assign a certificate for one branch to earn but not have users from a different branch earn one for completing the same course? | Yes. With Multiple Certificates per Course, you can issue different certificates from the same course based on branch (or group) criteria, so one branch can earn a certificate while another branch completing the same course does not (or earns a different one). |
| For the Checklists approval, if the item is available in multiple branches, but you want people to only see the ones from the people in their branches, is that possible? Example: I want everyone with this power user profile X to be able to approve this item, but only for the branches they have access to. The Checklist is tied to courses available in multiple branches | No. Branch-based filtering for checklist approvals is not supported today. This is recognized as an important governance and scalability requirement and may be explored in future enhancements. |
| Will we ever be able to duplicate certificate templates (and then swap out the backgrounds)? | Not currently. Certificate template duplication is expected to be addressed after the New Certifications foundational work will be complete. |
| Certificates are difficult to create. Do you have any advice on creating custom certificates with company logos? Will the built-in AI bot create one for us? | Certificates are not on the near-term roadmap due to dependency on the New Certifications initiative. AI does not currently generate certificates. |
| Could we also have multiple certificates for learning plans? | Not at this time. This is something that will be explored for the future. |
| Regarding certificates, can they be issues when any number of courses in an LP have been completed? For example, LP has 6 courses, certificate is issued when any 4 courses have been completed. | No. Certificate logic applies at the course level, not the Learning Plan level. A workaround is to mark the required number of courses as mandatory within the Learning Plan. |
| Is there any ability to link an observational checklist (added as training material) to a particular instructor of an ILT session? | This is not supported today. It is a strong suggestion and will be considered as enhancements to ILT sessions and instructor-specific evaluations are explored. |
| Will certifications have custom notifications, similar to courses and learning plans? One size does not fit all with our certifications. | Yes. As part of the New Certifications initiative, related notifications are being reviewed and improved. |
| Are we able to upload Certificates from outside sources onto students profiles? | Our plan is to address certificates as a follow-up phase, once the new certification model and foundations are in place, to ensure any enhancements are consistent with the future architecture while avoiding incremental changes that may not scale long term. |
| Do you have a release date for Certifications & retraining? | A beta is targeted for H1, with general availability planned for H2. |
| With the new enhancements to the certifications , will the notifications be updated as well so that you can have more than one certificaiton reminder? | Yes. Notification improvements, including reminders, are being reviewed as part of the New Certifications scope. |
| One big issue that has been haunting us is the UX related to manual language selection by users when accessing a course. Following the great feature of adding translated training materials within a single course, we are eagerly awaiting the possiblity to add course descriptions and such in another language as well…. | Yes. This is actively being worked on and will be made available in upcoming releases. |
| The the archiving option in LP's will there be more options for enrollment status? I would love them to match courses. We use suspend a lot of our compliance content and it's pain to go do course by course when I already built the LPs | Yes. Learning Plan enrollment archiving cascades to course enrollments, allowing the action to be managed once instead of course by course. |
| Is there a plan to include re-enroll option on a course? (e.g. auto-archive previous enrollment and push new enrollment) | On the admin side, this is already available. Extending this capability to learners is being considered, but there is no plan yet. |
| When archiving a learning plan are the courses within being archived as well? | Yes. |
| What is the "New Upload Flow"? | This first phase focuses on backend improvements for stability and scalability and introduces folder selection for content created via the Content Center Workspace. It sets the foundation for the next phase, which will include a new upload manager. |
| Has the ability for users to attend multiple sessions per course (without admin intervention) been added to the work list? | Not yet. This is on the roadmap for 2026, and work is already underway. |
| If the learner takes the same Coaching module are we charged twice? | Yes, the cost is not on the module itself, but really on the scenario experience for the learner. So if the learner repeats the same module, he will start a new scenario and will consume credits. The scenario is real-time generated and it’s a new experience each time. :) |
| We are interested in Duplicating ILT Courses and have used it in Sandbox. When will that move to Production environment? | This will be available on January 26, 2026. |
| Any planned upgrade to send notification to text rather than just email. | SMS notifications are not currently planned. Push notifications via the Go.Learn app are launching to support a more mobile-first experience. |
| If not already working on it, could another "attendance" option be available for ILT sessions so we can mark people who did not attend but keep the record of it? Something like an "Absent" mark that would then allow them to see other available sessions on the course (where their enrollment status would still be Enrolled or In Progress). Right now we have to unenroll them so they can attend another session and then we lose the enrollment record. | This is not supported today. ILT is an active investment area, and this feedback has been noted as part of ongoing improvements. |
| The January “What’s New” slide includes a longer list of features than the announcement/documentation, why the discrepancy? | For the full list of features released, please refer to the What's New community post. |
| What is the environmental impact of these AI tools? | Docebo’s AI features (such as Harmony Search and Support, AI auto‑tagging, and AI‑powered content tools) run in hyperscale cloud data centers, so their environmental impact is primarily the electricity (and associated CO₂) used for model training and ongoing inference. Docebo operates as a multi‑tenant SaaS platform and relies on hyperscale cloud infrastructure; Referring to the Trust Center documentation, we leverage AWS’s controls under the AWS Shared Responsibility Model. Globally, data centers account for a little over 1% of electricity use and about 0.5% of CO₂ emissions, with AI expected to increase that share over time but still remain a relatively small portion of total global emissions. At a company level, Docebo has begun formal ESG reporting. In our ESG report, we mentioned that 80% of our offices had adopted a Green Energy Supplier Policy and that 44% of our electricity consumption in 2021 came from renewable sources. Our AI capabilities are developed within a responsible AI framework focused on security, transparency, and human oversight, and they rely on the sustainability initiatives of the underlying cloud providers as those providers increase renewable energy use and data‑center efficiency. |
| Can Harmony search read SCORM files yet? | Yes Harmony Search can read and use SCORM content, with a few key considerations. Harmony can work with SCORM packages that are uploaded into your Docebo platform (either within courses or in the Central Repository), including content from providers like Go1 and OpenSesame, as well as custom packages created with tools such as Articulate Rise or Storyline, as long as they meet the AI support requirements and are available to users. SCORM content that exists only in another LMS or an external system would need to be uploaded into Docebo for Harmony to access it. For older SCORMs, Docebo is gradually reprocessing existing content through the new Distiller service to improve transcripts and search quality, and this happens automatically without any action required on your end. |
| What API options will be available to archiving learning plan enrollments? | At the moment, learning plan enrollment archiving is managed through the admin interface only which is still in the process of being released in Production. There isn’t a publicly documented or supported Learn API endpoint that you can call directly to archive learning plan enrollments. The archive actions you see in the UI (single and bulk archive, with options to re-enroll or unenroll) are handled by internal APIs that are not exposed for customer use. We do not currently have a way to trigger the archiving itself via a supported public API, so any automation must start from actions taken in the Docebo UI. |
| Can learners use Harmony to ask content based questions? Like summery of a course they took or ask it on which course they can learn more about X topic? | In short, yes – Harmony can be used by learners to ask content-based questions about the training available in the platform, provided that the relevant content is eligible for AI processing and visible to that learner. When Harmony search is enabled, learners can type a question in natural language (instead of just keywords), and Harmony will analyze it, search across supported training content, and return a direct answer in a chat window, along with links to the specific courses or materials it used as sources. Depending on the settings you choose for Harmony, it can either limit itself to search through content that the user has visibility on, or include general AI knowledge too. Harmony also provides a list of links to the platform source materials it used for its reply. You can find more details on how Harmony works and what it can do in this Knowledge Base article. As a final consideration, please keep in mind that, like every other AI tool available, Harmony is still a work in progress and it may make mistakes in its replies. While we are continuously refining it, we recommend to always verify important information. |
| How do you prevent learners from using Harmony to provide answers to tests/knowledge checks? | I can confirm that it is not currently possible to limit a user's access to Harmony for specific periods of time, such as while they are taking a test/knowledge check. Based on the current capabilities of Harmony, we would suggest the following options to limit a user's ability to misuse the feature: Constrain Harmony to platform content only (no generic AI knowledge) There is a setting “Allow general AI knowledge in responses” for Harmony search If you deselect it, Harmony answers are restricted to indexed platform content only, and it stops falling back to its built‑in generic knowledge This doesn’t block test questions, but it does mean learners only get what actually exists in content they’re allowed to see Design content so correct answers are not directly exposed in AI‑indexable materials visible to learners Avoid publishing answer keys or highly leading wording in PDFs, slides, HTML content, etc. that are visible to learners If a particular test is high‑stakes, keep the exact answers only in the test object itself (which Harmony does not read) and keep surrounding materials more conceptual or summarized Utilize the Honorlock integration for truly high-stakes exams Honorlock ensures user integrity, but does require additional setup and a time commitment Disable Harmony completely (globally or by extended‑enterprise domain) |
| Can have badges based on points range ( for e.g. 10-30 Silver, 31-60 Gold, 61-80 Diamond and 81-100 Platinum)? | Currently, Docebo’s Gamification app does not support awarding badges based solely on a user’s total points falling within specific ranges (e.g., 10–30 = Silver, 31–60 = Gold). Badges are awarded either manually or automatically when users complete certain actions on the platform, such as finishing courses, uploading assets, or engaging in community activities. These badges can then grant points when earned. To approximate tiered badges, you can: Create separate badges (Silver, Gold, Diamond, Platinum) and assign them for specific learning milestones or achievements, each with its own point value. Use leaderboards to display users with the highest point totals, although leaderboards do not assign tier badges. Review reports periodically to monitor users’ point totals and manually assign tier badges as needed. For more advanced automation, such as using external scripts or integrations to read user points and assign badges via the Gamification API, custom development would be required beyond standard configuration. |
| Any functionality to lock Harmony while a user is doing a compliance test (or any test) so the user can’t search for the answers via Harmony? | As of today, Distiller does not generate transcripts for tests or quizzes, whether they are embedded in a SCORM package or created as standalone training materials. In most cases, the answers to quiz questions are already contained within the course content that learners are expected to complete beforehand. From a practical standpoint, there isn’t a reliable way to fully restrict access. Using options like “play test in a new window” can remove the header and navigation, but learners could still open a separate browser tab and work around the limitation. More broadly, with tools like GPT or Gemini available, it’s possible for users to derive correct answers even without direct access to a course transcript. Because of this, fully preventing this behaviour is extremely difficult and not something that can be completely solved through platform controls alone. |
| Will this enable PUs to add courses to LPs, without being able to edit the course training material, or any other course settings? | Here’s the follow‑up detail on both points you raised: a) PU course restrictions and Learning Plans With the new “Restrict Course Editing for Power Users and Instructors” option, Super Admins can: Lock the Course Properties and Training Material tabs as read‑only for selected courses (even if the PU normally has broader permissions). Still allow PUs to use those courses operationally, according to their usual Power User permissions and visibility (e.g., enrollments, reporting, inclusion in Learning Plans). What this means for your use case: Yes, the intent is that you can let PUs create and manage Learning Plans that include those courses, without allowing them to edit the course properties or training materials on the restricted courses. As long as the PU has visibility on the courses and LP‑related permissions, they can build LPs with them; the course‑level edit UI will stay locked. For more details, please check Restrict course editing for PU. b) Certificate editor There are two related streams of work: Foundational certificates work (in progress / planned) The Certificates area is being ported to our Hydra design system and APIs behind the scenes. This first phase does not change the current UI but is required to support a modernized editor, better UX, and potential AI‑assisted features later on. New Certifications & Retraining initiative Certificates are tightly connected to a broader “New Certifications & Retraining” revamp that is on the roadmap. Because of that dependency, a fully redesigned, more user‑friendly certificate editor is planned as a follow‑up phase, once the new certification foundations are in place. So in practical terms: Short term: the existing certificate editor and workflow remain as they are. Medium term: you’ll continue to see certificate‑related improvements (e.g., multiple certificates per course, better export and management options) as part of that foundation work. Longer term: a modernized certificate editor UI is in scope but not yet committed to a specific release date. For the latest and more detailed timing as things firm up, the best places to watch are: The Product Updates page on Docebo Help. The Public Feature Roadmap and Product Updates areas in the Docebo Community. If you’d like, you may also log your specific editor pain points (e.g., drag‑and‑drop layout, easier alignment, more flexible background handling) into the Docebo Ideas Portal, so our Product has visibility on this input. |
| Can you comment on future enhancements to Harmony Search reporting tools? I know our C-Suite will we be very interested to learn what kinds of questions users are asking in the platform, and what their demographics are. | According to internal documentation, your inquiry pertains to one of the team's top priorities for Harmony Search. Among the planned features, a key focus is on an Insight-based analytics that will provide information on who is searching, what they are asking, how effectively their needs are being met, and where gaps exist to support C-suite decision-making. This is anticipated to be a dashboard with a visual, aggregated, and filterable view. Including: Usage and adoption metrics, Content and “what are people asking” insights, Audience and “demographic” breakdown, as well as Trends and Segmentation. Although we (Docebo Support) have no ETA to share at this moment, we can acknowledge that this is amongst the top customer requests and confirm with confidence that our teams are actively working on this and many more enhancements. Please feel invited to keep an eye on our Feature Roadmap & Ideas for further developments. |
| Can you please roadmap upgrades to Certificate templates? The ability to duplicate would be helpful | Currently, admins can create and manage templates and reuse their content, but any true copy still needs to be created manually (for example, by creating a new template and copying the layout/content into it). On the roadmap side, certificate work is actively underway (including the new multi‑certificate per course capabilities), and certificate template duplication is expected to be addressed after the new certifications foundation work is complete. We don’t have a committed public date for template‑level duplication yet, but your specific feedback from the webinar has been shared shared internally to our product team. For the latest on when these changes move from sandbox to production, the best references are: Product Updates on Docebo Help (release-by-release details) The Product Updates and Public Roadmap areas in the Docebo Community, where certificate enhancements are tracked and updated over time. |
| When you enhance the surveys, please enable two things: codes (similar to course codes) and the ability to copy/edit (duplicate and edit) | Right now, surveys (as a training material type) don’t support these but you can reuse a survey by assigning the same survey training material to multiple courses via the Central Repository, but that’s reuse, not duplication into a new survey with its own code or configuration. Your request for codes (similar to course codes) and the ability to copy/edit (duplicate and edit) has been captured as the Product team is planning around tests and surveys, which was also raised separately during the webinar Q&A. In addition to what we’ve logged internally, you’re also very welcome submit those input on our Ideas Portal in the Community. |
| When is the Test/Survey overhaul? | We completely understand the anticipation surrounding these updates; having the right tools to measure learner knowledge and gather feedback is essential for a successful training program, and it’s important to know when to expect those improvements. The overhaul of the Tests and Surveys is a significant project currently on our roadmap. Here is the latest information: Phased Rollout: Rather than a single "flip of the switch," Docebo is updating these modules in phases to ensure stability and incorporate user feedback. Release Dates: While specific dates can shift based on development cycles, we recommend keeping a close eye on the Product Updates section of the Docebo Help Center. This is where we post detailed release notes as soon as a feature moves into the Sandbox or Production environments. Community Influence: If there are specific functionalities you are hoping to see in this overhaul, we highly encourage you to visit and submit your input on the Docebo Ideas Portal. |
| If a course is created using the Creator Tool, When will Doceob Release a Feature to export both the Contact Source files and Content Package (SCORM or TinCan)? | This feature is not currently included in our official roadmap. However, we are aware of its importance and will share any updates on our public roadmap, accessible on the Community, as soon as they become available. |
| Will you finally update the Certificate creator UI to be more user friendly and easier to design with? | We fully understand the anticipation surrounding these updates, having the right tools to measure learner knowledge and gather feedback is essential for a successful training program, and it’s important to know when to expect those improvements. The overhaul of the Tests and Surveys is a significant project currently on our roadmap. Here is the latest information: Phased Rollout: Rather than a single "flip of the switch," Docebo is updating these modules in phases to ensure stability and incorporate user feedback. | Do we know yet how to control which certificates are awarded? | Checking issued certificates can only be done on a case-by-case basis, starting from the specific certificate and checking who earned it, directly from the certificates area. At the moment, there is no more comprehensive approach because there is no ad hoc report for certificates. A viable approach could be to lever Docebo Advanced Analytics, where you could easily build a report that cross-references the certificates tables with the courses and users. We recommend consulting with the CSM team to best evaluate the most suitable solution for your specific use case. |
| Will the new power user process involve reporting? currently manual to update specifics and assignments per PU. | To clarify: the recent and upcoming Power User enhancements do not introduce a reporting-driven way to update Power User specifics or assignments. Reports remain a way to view and export data based on what a Power User can see, but they don’t currently control or automate Power User assignments. Today, Power User resources and profiles still need to be managed via: The Power Users management area (including mass actions such as assigning “all courses / all learning plans / all courses and learning plans in visible catalogs” to reduce per-user manual work), and CSV-based user management, where you can create or update Power Users and assign up to 10 Power User profiles per user in bulk. Recent changes around Power Users have focused on more granular permissions (for example, group management, pages and menus, channels, and automatic groups) and on how rights changes are applied (e.g., forcing a new login when profiles/permissions/resources are updated), rather than using reports themselves as a configuration or assignment tool. |
| Are there any plans to give managers more visibility into course and learning plan descriptions for their teams when enrolling from the My Team menu? Currently, managers can’t access the course description within the enrollment workflow. | At this time, this area of the platform is in a maintenance and stability phase. This means that our current focus is strictly on ensuring core performance, and we are not planning any new functional improvements for the time being. |
| Is it possible to add External Training to a transcript page? As of right now the transcript will only list out courses within the system. Would love to see external training be added to the transcript page. | At the moment, the My transcript page only lists trainings that learners are enrolled in directly on the platform (for example, e-learning courses and learning plans) and does not include External Training entries. External Training is currently tracked and visible from the My activities → External training tab instead, and can also be included in certain admin/manager reports such as the User personal summary. We definitely see the value in having a single, unified view where learners can see both internal and external training together. We'd suggest submitting this input to our our ideas portal. |
| Will there be a full unedited recording or only the broken up selected recorded sections after? | Yes – there will be a full video available soon. Once the recording has been processed, it will be published in Docebo University here, similar to how past Release Readiness sessions have been made available as full recordings there. As with previous releases, we may also publish shorter, topic-specific clips or summary videos, but those are in addition to, not instead of, the full recording. If you registered for the webinar, you should also receive an email with the recording link once it’s ready. |
| Is AI captioning for video uploads to courses and channels in the works? | At the moment, Docebo does not automatically generate AI captions for video training materials uploaded into courses or channels. To make videos accessible today, subtitles need to be uploaded manually as VTT files (one file per language) on the Subtitles tab of each video training material, and many customers also pair this with separate transcripts or audio descriptions where needed. AI is already used behind the scenes to power things like Harmony’s ability to understand video content, and AI‑driven captioning/transcription for video is part of our broader AI roadmap. However, this is not yet available in the platform, and we’re not able to share committed timelines outside of what’s published publicly. We recommend keeping an eye on our Product Updates and the public Feature Roadmap in the Community, as any formal announcements about AI captioning and related video capabilities will be shared there first: Product Updates & release posts Public Feature Roadmap |
| Can we use the Creator for creating Compliance courses? | Creator can be used to create any training, included compliance. These courses can be developed to align with company policies and ensure that all required guidelines are met. |
| Will Harmony search consider course code (internal)? | At the moment, Course Code is not supported in Global Search. Historically, this field has been used primarily for administrative purposes across most customer setups, which is why it has not yet been exposed in learner-facing search experiences. That said, Course Unique ID is supported. When searching for the Course Unique ID enclosed in quotation marks, the system will return only the course that exactly matches that value. The Course Unique ID (for example, E-VMN251) can be found (see screenshot): In the Course Management area, within a dedicated column On the course overview page. While not ideal, this can serve as a short-term workaround to help users quickly locate the correct course when needed. Enabling Course Code as a searchable and ranked parameter would require updates to the search index, APIs, and a full reindexing process. Based on past experience, we believe that exposing this information directly in the search results UI would not be particularly valuable for the majority of customers. We’ve encountered similar feedback in the past, for example, in the new course player, where customers explicitly asked for custom CSS options to hide course IDs from the interface. For now, we recommend using result-based search with the Course Unique ID for precise matching. That said, we’re actively working on improving both standard and conversational search. This includes evaluating how additional metadata could be leveraged (like codes and others), especially in discovery-oriented experiences, to further improve accuracy and usability over time. |
| I've played with the AI simulator and it blew me away! Are there any deployment restrictions? eg user/time/token limits, etc. I couldn't find anything, but my gut tells me there has to be some inference cost. Are they running on Docebo models. Are there any restrictions/tiers on usage? | Pricing for AI Virtual Coaching is part of the AI Credits System, which is already live. This system applies to a small set of advanced, infrastructure-intensive AI features: AI Virtual Coaching, AI Content Builder, and AI Video Presenter. Credits tie usage directly to the infrastructure and value required to deliver AI-driven experiences. For AI Virtual Coaching specifically, credits are only consumed when learners take simulations, not when simulations are created or configured. This ensures costs are driven by actual learner engagement rather than setup or experimentation. As a complimentary initiative, Docebo granted 1,000 AI Credits to all customer platforms that had Creator active as of January 26, 2026, and Elevate and Enterprise platforms also receive 1,000 AI Credits to experiment with AI Virtual Coaching. If additional credits are needed, they can be purchased separately. For a complete overview of how AI Credits work, including usage and purchasing options, we recommend visiting our Knowledge Base https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/31318530800786-AI-credit-system-overview. For pricing specifics or to discuss how this impacts your account and internal buy-in, your Accaout Manager and Customer Success team can walk through the details. |
| One thing we are struggling with is the "customer journey" part. We use Docebo mainly for training external people and we ask money for that. But for the whole part from people subscribing to courses to informing them about the progress, billing etc. we need to build integrations to external systems. | There isn’t a single “all-in-one” customer‑journey module, but the platform does offer several integration paths that can work together: Native integrations and marketplace connectors. Docebo provides many off‑the‑shelf integrations to connect your learning data with CRMs, HR systems, marketing tools, e‑commerce and payment providers (for example, Stripe, Adyen, WooCommerce), so you can synchronize user data, purchases and enrollments between systems with minimal configuration rather than building everything from scratch. You can browse the available options here: https://www.docebo.com/products/integrations/marketplace/ Docebo Connect Docebo Connect is our integration platform that lets you connect your Docebo instance with 400+ third‑party SaaS systems using pre‑built connectors and automated workflows (“recipes”), significantly reducing the amount of custom integration work required. Typical use cases include: - When a learner purchases a course or bundle in an external shop or payment system, automatically creating/updating their Docebo user and enrolling them in the correct courses. - Sending enrollment and completion data back to your CRM or billing tools so you can trigger emails, invoices, or renewals. - Automating exports (e.g. enrollments, user lists) to systems like S3 or other data stores as part of your reporting or finance processes. You can find an overview of Docebo Connect here: https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/4407581695378-Docebo-Connect APIs and webhooks. If you prefer or already have development resources, you can still use our public APIs and webhooks, either directly or together with Docebo Connect, to build more tailored workflows for registration, progress updates and billing events. We fully understand that, with about 100 FTEs, you may not have a large internal development team. Docebo Connect and our off‑the‑shelf integrations are specifically designed to reduce the integration effort compared with purely custom builds, but in practice, you will still want at least a technical owner (internal or partner) to help design and maintain the flows that best match your specific stack. We suggest reaching out to your Account Manager or CSM to scope the best integration approach, including any onboarding or professional services that might help keep the effort manageable for your team. |
| Will AI Credit control be at the EE domain level? | At the moment, AI Credits are pooled across the platform with no limitation or control on a per Extended Enterprise domain basis. If you need further assistance or have additional questions about using AI Credits, we recommend contacting your Docebo account representative or consult our knowledge base https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/31318530800786-AI-credit-system-overview |
| When using the Archive & disenrol option if archiving a learning plan - will the progress % remain if Reset tracking is not selected? | The progress percentage is not kept when using Archive & Disenroll, even if Reset tracking is not selected. At the moment, only the basic enrollment metadata is preserved. You can find more about this functionality by checking the dedicated article in our Knowledge Base https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/31154260443666-Archiving-learning-plan-enrollments |
| I want to be able to suspend, wait list, etc like the course enrollment options from the LP level- not just archive. So i'm wondering if part of the LP enhancement that is coming January will include this? | The upcoming enhancements are primarily focused on the Archive functionality for Learning Plans. This update is designed to help administrators better manage the visibility and lifecycle of completed or outdated learning plans. The "Waitlist" and "Suspend" statuses are not included in the January update for Learning Plans, and can be handled only at individual course level. While these specific enrollment options won't be part of this immediate release, we highly value this feedback. We recommend submitting this input on our Docebo Idea Portal, where our product team actively reviews suggestions for future updates. |
| Do we get a certain number of AI credits included and then purchase more or do we have to purchase all of them? | AI Credits are not included in any subscription tier. Customers can purchase AI Credits separately based on their expected usage of the most advanced AI-powered features that falls under the AI Credit System (AI Virtual Coaching, AI Video Presenter and AI Content Builder). For a complete overview of how AI Credits work, including usage and purchasing options, we recommend reaching out to your Account Manager or visiting our Knowledge Base https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/31318530800786-AI-credit-system-overview |
| A simple addition that would be super beneficial is allowing superadmin to create private sessions for public courses. Is that a possibility to add in the near future? | Unfortunately, this initiative is not part of our near‑term roadmap. |
| Are all these features in roadmap geography specific as well, or coming as a global release? | In general, roadmap items are designed with global availability in mind, but certain features can have region-specific considerations (for example, compliance, data residency, or local regulations). When a feature is intended to be limited to specific geographies, we typically call that out explicitly in our external communications about that feature. At this time, the roadmap you’re referencing should be considered global by default, unless it is explicitly labelled or communicated as region-specific. To make sure we give you the most accurate guidance for your use case, we’d like to confirm how this applies to your specific scenario. Once we have those details, we can verify with the relevant internal stakeholders (such as Product/CSM) if any of the items you’re tracking will have regional rollout differences. To help us support you better, could you please share: Which specific features from the roadmap you are most interested in, and Which region(s)/instance(s) you are using (for example, North America, EU, APAC, and your Docebo domain)? |
| Does the AI content creator that currently exists that we've been accessing without AI credits still going to have no AI credits or will it now have AI credits? | As of January 5th 2026, the AI credit system became effective. Here following the Creator AI features that consume AI credits: - AI Virtual coaching - AI Video Presenter - AI Content Builder All the other functionalities under Creator will not be charged and are included in your subscription. For further details on the AI Credit System please consul our knowledge base https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/31318530800786-AI-credit-system-overview |
| Any thoughts on adding the ability to group like types in folders in the various places in the platform where we have lists as an admin. notifications, groups, enrollment rules, etc... | At this time, the platform does not support organizing admin items, such as notifications, groups, enrollment rules, or similar lists, into folders as you described. As we value your feedback and input, we higly recommend to sumbit this into our Ideas Portal on our Community. |
| What’s the best way to evaluate the Harmony Search’s answers? Is there a API available where we can do automated tests? | Manual Review and User Feedback When Harmony provides a response, it includes links to the source content. Reviewers can manually check if the answer is grounded in the referenced material. Built-in feedback tools (such as “thumbs down” or “bad response” icons) allow users and support staff to flag incorrect, irrelevant, or hallucinated answers. This feedback is used to improve future responses Please note: Feedback provided through the thumbs up and thumbs down buttons is collected anonymously and used internally by Docebo to improve the Harmony copilot experience. It is not shared with other administrators or used to provide customer support. Question: If there is an API available to support automated testing. An API to support automated testing of Harmony Search responses is under active development, but as of now, it is not yet available for customer or external use. |
| The JAN 2026 updates post still has November 19 on the SAML description - when will that date be updated? (SAML Porting: Modernized SSO Integration - Nov 19) | As shared on the last January 2026: What’s New Community Post, our new SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) integration, originally planned for January, has been postponed. https://community.docebo.com/product-updates/january-2026-what-s-new-15371 During final testing, we identified an issue that could have affected some users’ login experience. To ensure we deliver a secure and seamless rollout for everyone, we’ve decided to delay the release while we implement the necessary improvements. We’re taking this extra time to ensure you get the best version of the new SSO, future-ready, reliable, and disruption-free. We appreciate your patience and look forward to bringing you this upgrade soon. We’ll keep you updated on the new release timeline as soon as it’s confirmed. Thank you for your understanding, and as always, our team is here if you have any questions. |
| Any insights into when the Certification and Retraining area is getting the refresh? | In short: yes, a major refresh of Certifications & Retraining is actively in progress, but we’re not yet at a point where we can share a confirmed public release date. Our Product and Engineering teams are working on a new Certifications & Retraining experience that treats certifications as a dedicated training object (similar to a learning plan) and simplifies how admins configure expiration, renewal windows, and retraining rules. The work is very much still in-progress but you may see further updates on its progress on our Feature Product Roadmpa on the Community. You may also leave any feedback you have on this form which is captured by our product team. As soon as there is a concrete, customer‑shareable update on timing or beta/early‑access opportunities in Sandbox, those details will be communicated through our standard product release channels. |
| Do the advanced permissions for Power Users allow for restricting enrollment abilities (we need to prevent PU from enrolling learners in Compliance learning plans and courses but have the ability to enroll learners in other coureses and learning plans). We can't restrict them from the Learning Plans at the PU level because they need to see those LPs on completion reports. | At the moment, our PU permissions cannot be limited to specific resources but apply across the board to all resources. A viable approach could be to not assign “Compliance learning plans and courses” as resources to Power Users. In any case, we recommend discussing the use case in more detail with our CSM team so that we can provide you with the best possible guidance. |
| Would love to see retraining/certification take into account the ecommerce workflow. I.e. if a learner is to retrain and there is an associated cost/updated course they can purchase again. Is this in scope? | With the upcoming revamp of Certifications & Retraining, certifications will become a dedicated training entity (similarly to learning plan) and will inherit our existing catalog and ecommerce capabilities. In other words, certifications and their retraining paths will be designed to work within the same ecommerce framework you already use for paid courses and learning plans, automatically routing learners who are due for retraining to repurchase an updated, paid course as part of the renewal flow. At this stage, it is not something we can formally confirm as part of the initial release scope. However, we recognize this is a great input and we warmly recommend to submit this suggestion on Ideas Portal in our Community. |
| A clarification-- can Harmony read uploaded SCORM files, not created in Docebo? All of our Central Repository content is SCORM, so Harmony cannot bring up answers. | At the moment, Harmony Search works with content that is uploaded directly to the Docebo platform. It does not index or query files that are hosted entirely in external systems, such as other LMSs or network drives. That said, content does not need to reside specifically in the Central Repository to be indexed by Harmony. As long as the content is uploaded to Docebo (either within a course or in the Central Repository) and meets the AI support requirements, it can be indexed. Regarding third-party SCORM files, Harmony is currently able to index SCORM content from certain providers, such as Go1 and OpenSesame, as well as SCORM packages created with tools like Articulate Rise or Storyline. (see: Harmony search) We are actively working on enhancing Harmony Search, and we don't exclude the possibility that additional third-party content sources may be supported for indexing in the future. In the meantime, I recommend keeping an eye on our Product updates page and the public Feature Roadmap in the Docebo Community, where we share and track upcoming enhancements. |
| When will the "Record your Screen" feature be fixed? | We are aware of the issue, but unfortunately there are currently no plans to address it. As an interim solution, we recommend using an external screen recorder, such as the native recording tools in Windows or macOS, or any third-party recorder you prefer and then manually uploading the recorded video to your course assignment. |
| Is there anything in the pipeline to update the video player? | To find out any upcoming features and enhacements, we recommend to always keep an eye on our Community Product Updates and Product Feature Roadmap. |
