Hello wise Community,

We recently launched My Team with a few external partners. As the super admin and project owner, I’d like to generate a report on My Team activity across the platform. What’s the best way to do this? Do I need to make myself the manager of all My Team managers in order to get a complete overview?

Thanks,

Cat

What do you mean by “ My Team activity across the platform”?

You shouldn't need to make yourself a manager to report on the activity in the platform

@lrnlab, I want to see an overview of engagement data tied specifically to My Team. Thanks!

hmm ok so it’s not a full report of all your users? Only those that have a manager?

If your external partners are in their own branch (of a group) that would be your best option. Still not lier on what data you are looking to pull. Course completions, training material progress, etc. What data points do you need in your report ?

Hi @lrnlab,

Thanks for your reply and questions. For context, I’m the owner of our external My Team pilot. I’d like to compare engagement and completion rates of people in a team with people not in a team (our LMS has free, self-registration).

If you can identify your users by te branch (or some tother data point, perhaps something in your additional fields) they are in, that (those) data point(s) is/are available in the Users - Courses report (shows completions for users). You could export that then filter the users by branch and calculate your completion rates. Or, have you tried using Insights? that's another great way to view your data. None of these options allow for analysis of the data so it may all come back to reports. You can also add the Direct  and Indirect managers to your report if that’s an easier way to filter the results.

@lrnlab I love the idea of giving them an additional field for reporting. Thank you!
