I am really confused by the use of tags in the platform. We liked the idea of auto-tagging, but once content is tagged, is it only for search purposes?
In many other platforms that have the concept of tags, you could have it ‘clickable’ to show content related to that tag, but that does not appear to be an option in Docebo. I also thought there would be a widget to display courses by tag, but not so. So they seem kinda… pointless?
what am I missing.

Hi.
Auto-tagging was problematic for us because we are an International organization and the words were not correct and actually not even words at time...so we turned it off and create our own to control things.

Agree that they are not as usual as they could be. Mainly used to improve search results but you often have to edit them to make them make sense as the auto-tagging does not always get it right. You can opt to turn off this feature and just manually add your tags; an extra step but worth it for courses you want to have a higher visibility to.
Bit disappointing that tags are only used for search. Seems like a huge missed opportunity to categorize and suggest courses. Frankly auto tagging for suggestion of courses would work way better for us and our subject matter than skills does.
