The outlook connector certainly is one of the more cumbersome self-managed components of the platform. Overall we are glad we have it but are still building our best practices list.

One thing we have found and confirmed with Docebo is that special characters in the ITL session name can render links in the invite to the session page inoperable. Docebo was unable to give me a list during implementation but for sure (brackets) was a problem.

Do you have an best practices you have implemented or learned from using the connector?

Not really other than to echo your thought about it be cumbersome...once we figured it all out, we just stepped away and let it run...We haven't yet launched across the platform and had to update the text above the settings area on ILT courses to alert PU’s not to use this setting unless they were authorized (and trained) to do so. apart from that it’s pretty much the same as it was on launch day.
