When our employees go on leave of absence, their profiles are deactivated. When they come back, they are reactivated. While they are deactivated, they cannot receive any training assignments. Does anyone have a suggestion for how we can make sure that they are assigned training they would have gotten during their absence, in an automated way upon their return?

How are you assigning them in the first place? With groups and enrolment rules? Or manually? If manual, not much you can do except to keep track of when a user is reactivated, etc.

If automated, you can look to enable the “remove deactivated users” option in your groups so that when the user is reactivated they will appear anew in the group and kick off the enrolment rules. Maybe worth a try.

Thanks @lrnlab - we use enrollment rules for our New Hire training but not for our quarterly assignments. So if someone is on leave when we have a quarterly assignment, they simply aren’t assigned the training and don’t get it when they come back on duty. We are considering several options, but the easiest may be to have our HR team send us a monthly report of people who are back from leave each month so we can manage them manually.
