Hi everyone,

Currently my organization uses the ILT event starting notification set to trigger “2 hours AFTER the event starts” to send out our training evaluation which is a Microsoft form.

The issue we are having is for cohort style classes with multiple events in one session, a notification goes out for each event which tends to be too redundant. It appears that the ILT session starting notification is also triggered by “event” so I was wondering what is the difference between the two?

Can anyone else think of a solution to what I am trying to solve here? I’d like to see one notification going out at the last event of a session.

The Session email should only send 1 email

https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/4429113070226-Notification-events-and-conditions#Course.IltSessionStarting

it says the Event version will send an email for each event in the session while the session template will only send 1 to notify of the start of the session

Thank you @lrnlab. When setting up the session notification it uses the word event in the schedule trigger which makes it seem like it sends after the events within the session.

Oh I see...the word “event” here refers to the when the action occurs; in this case, the session start time (which coincides with the first event in the session). Does that help?
