Notifications update

Hi community members,

We have a user that has the following issue:

“I am testing on the sandbox again to check on any updates to the Notifications feature.
In Production, my Notifications for PAID courses have the following:

  1. User enrolled in course
  2. User enrolled in ILT session
  3. User completed course

The first notification goes out when a user does the check out and goes into the Waiting list to be "Marked as Paid" on transactions. It notifies the user that they need to receive an invoice from us and pay before their registration can be confirmed. 
 

The second notification gets sent out after the user has been "Marked as Paid" in Transactions to acknowledge their payment and notify their enrolment into the course and session. 
 

On the sandbox, this is no longer the case for me as User gets both notifications 1. and 2. simultaneously after marking them as paid. 
 

I have also tried testing out 2 notification types on the sandbox that I hoped would give me the result I wanted but sadly with no success:

  1. User bought a course
  2. User waiting to be enrolled in a course

These two notifications have been set to send to the user immediately after checking out and entering the wait list, but I am only getting the notifications after marking myself as paid.

Before this update, my structure of notifications were working in Production. But now I am not sure if Production is reflecting the same issue I am facing on the sandbox.”

Did anyone here try this out and can help provide any guidance?
