The best way to changing branch codes from old to new ones in mass

I am looking forward to seeing if there are any responses, as we will experience something similar in the upcoming months. We prefer not to have to update every single branch one by one. 

​@mbeaulieu After numerous hours spent on investigating this, I have been informed by Docebo that there is no such function in the system that would bulk update the branch codes. Also, the alternative workarounds are both fairly manual heavy. Therefore, there is no easy way to go about it basically by the superadmins.

The two options for superadmin to handle this are these:

• Create new branches by CSV
  You can create new branches by CSV and then move users into the new ones, which on paper sounds easy. However, as you create new branches, you need to redo all your groups & the eligibility rules since when you create new branches that means you have new branch IDs. This means all your existing groups needs the new branches associated.
   
• Create new branches via API browser
  You can create new branches from the Docebo API browser.
  However, there is no bulk action for this so you need to do each branch one by one. Depending on a size of the company structure, this can be small task or then a massive one.
   

Ultimately, my decision was to purchase a professional services from Docebo and they can do this for me. The reason is that I don't currently have the time to do the heavy-lifting by myself due to project time constraints. But ultimately, that can be your 3rd option as well if you have the time and the budget for this.

All in all, I see this as a function missing from the system as admins should be able to do this type of a task fairly easily on their own.
