Vocabulary List in a Course

Hello,

I want to provide a vocabulary list to my learners that is searchable and includes links and images. Has anyone done this? I’d prefer it to be housed within the LMS not something they need to download.

All ideas are welcome. Thanks!

You may want to consider using an h5p interactive module and then wrapping it in a SCORM wrapper.

  1. Create an account at h5p.org
  2. Here is one possible interactive module.  The example is based on strawberries, but you can adjust it to your needs.  https://h5p.org/content-types/information-wall
  3. Click on the “reuse” link on the bottom left corner of the page and download the h5p file.
  4. Upload it here and then edit it as you wish, including the metadata, properties, what’s searchable, etc.  https://h5p.org/node/add/h5p-content
  5. When ready click the reuse button again and download your h5p content.
  6. Visit this (unofficial) SCORM packager for h5p content and upload the h5p file: https://translate-h5p.tk/scorm-h5p/
  7. Download the SCORM package and upload it as a SCORM type training material.
  8. Enjoy

Hello Ed,

Thank you for that detailed response! Sounds like a great idea - I’ll give it a try.

I appreciate your help,

Andrea
