In Learning Evaluation (LE), we’re implementing Learner Follow-Up questionnaires for the first time. LE was enabled earlier this year for Learner Initial questionnaires, but Follow-Up wasn’t activated.

We would like to create custom follow-up questionnaires for individual courses in order to align the questions to the learning objectives of those course. However when we attempt to enable the Learner Follow-Up option for a course, the questionnaire is locked to the default Learner Follow-Up questionnaire.

I understand that a course’s questionnaire is chosen once at activation and stays attached from the first to the last enrollment for that course, but has anyone found a workaround to this limitation? We opened a ticket, and there doesn’t seem to be an obvious solution other than to build a new course shell.

Thank you!

haven't used that tool all that often but I think you need to configure it before you associate courses. Have you tried starting with a brand new template to see if you can adjust the follow-up?

Thanks, @lrnlab! I think that’s what we’ll have to do.

The default learner follow-up questionnaire should include the question, “Which training course objectives have you increased your effectiveness in since completing the course?” This question will pull in the course objectives from the additional fields area of the course. You’ll need to create these as additional fields and then Docebo will need to associate the fields to DLE.

I would recommend editing the original follow-up questionnaire because you can’t attach a different questionnaire template under the Evaluation Designer (if you want it to be set as the default questionnaire). That is what we are doing. Once we edit the questionnaire, all net new enrollments will get the updated questions and the previous questions and data will not be deleted. Hope this helps!
