💙 What we’re excited about in this month’s release…
Before we dive into our regular programming, we’ve got a special video edition of the monthly Release Readiness webinar from our very own
Also, a big thanks to
Lastly, be sure to read all the way to the end where we let you know how to ask any questions you have for this release AND to tell us what you thought of the video this month.
Now, let’s dig in!
Share badges on mobile
Learners using the mobile app can share their badges on any social network or via any compatible application on their device. The badge will be shared with a link to a public page hosted by your platform (accessible by anyone, no need to have a Docebo account), where all of the details of the achievement are displayed.
Share the gift of learning this holiday season! You know what I got for the holidays this year? Learning! You know who I am going to tell? Everyone that will listen. This could be you too. There is no greater way to showcase your learning programs by allowing your learners to share their successes on their LinkedIn profile, with colleagues or in messages encouraging others to grow.
Mobile and learning go hand in hand. How do we know? Among Docebo customers, mobile learning accounts for approximately 20% of course completions. What better way to showcase their success and let your programs shine. Your marketing team will be so proud!
Ok, truth is, this Shape update is part of the December release but you won't see it until early January. Our New Year's gift to you!
New Storyboards for Shape
Storyboards give you greater control over the text and images in your Shapes, without sacrificing the speed and efficiency of using AI. Plug in the text you want to see by scene and add keywords to be used for searching for the correct media asset. It is all about saving you time editing Shapes in “post production”.
The process is simple. Download the storyboard template, add text by scene and add search criteria for images. Once complete, upload and wait for it…
Customize the Flow experience with Course Player Building Blocks
Docebo Flow allows you to inject learning into your products and applications. Now, in addition to or as an alternative to the Flow App Launcher, you can use Flow Building Blocks as stand-alone learning widgets directly in your product. This allows for a more customized, on-brand, and seamless learning experience.
As part of the Docebo Flow December release, we have introduced the first building block for your Course Player widget. This will allow you to embed a single course anywhere in your application. (Yep, my friends, that is truly learning in the flow!). We do have one small request; please please please share your glorious designs with us. We can’t wait to see them!

Get into the nitty gritty👇👇👇
🤓 Give me the details
For those of you interested in the nitty gritty, here’s all that’s changing in this month’s release:
New accessible area in your platform
Starting from this monthly release, the Results page of the global search becomes accessible, allowing all users to browse the results of their searches also using screen readers, keyboard navigation and zooming the area up to 400%. Learn more on accessibility in your platform.
Enhanced flexibility for the visibility options of the My Profile area
For those using the Hide the My Profile and the Preferences sections in the user personal area for learners and Power Users, and the My Profile section only for Superadmins option in the platform Advanced Settings menu, starting from this monthly release, this option is split into two. This change will enhance the flexibility of the tab visibility of the My Profile area. The new options are:
-
Hide the Personal Info tab except for the avatar image in the My Profile area for all users
-
Hide the Preferences tab in the My Profile area for users and Power Users.
Your current option configuration will be reflected in the new options: both of them are active if you activated the Hide the My Profile and the Preferences sections in the user personal area for learners and Power Users, and the My Profile section only for Superadmins option, both of them are inactive if you haven’t.
Automatic detection of the user time zone
For those allowing users to customize their time zone, starting from this monthly release, when users move to a location having a different time zone than the one set, the platform will prompt them to adjust their time zone according to the one detected by the browser. Learn more on the time zone management in your platform.
Task list widget redirecting to the course Report tab
As communicated on November 23, 2021, for those using the task list widget, starting from this monthly release, when clicking on an assignment in the Assignment to Evaluate tab, you will be redirected to the Reports tab of the course instead of landing on the Properties tab. This enhancement reduces the number of clicks needed to evaluate an assignment.
Change of the default AI-Based channel behavior
For those who using Discover, Coach & Share, starting from this monthly release, if the default AI-Based channel is activated or deactivated from the Channel Management menu, this action will no longer have any impact on the user menu: if the default AI-Based channel is activated, then the corresponding page will no longer be automatically visible in the user menu and, vice versa, when deactivated, the corresponding page will not be automatically removed from the user menu. The removal must be done manually from the Manage Menus area. Learn more about how to customize your menus.
New events now available in the new Audit Trail

As communicated on November 30, 2021, starting from this monthly release, Docebo adds two new technical cookies exempted from user consent to the list of cookies of Docebo Learn. In this update, the following new features have been added to the mobile app:

For those using gamification, badge sharing has been improved! In addition to a redesigned and enhanced user interface, now when your learners share their badges on social networks or via any compatible apps installed on their devices, they share the link to a public page of Docebo platform, accessible by anyone (even by people who don’t have an account on Docebo), where all of the details of the achievement are displayed. Linking the official authority which has awarded the badges makes them more reliable in the eyes of the public.

-
