Howdy Partners!!
As we’re getting ready to saddle up for Inspire (I had no idea I was going with a western/cowboy theme here until I started writing, so stick with me and we’ll see how far this goes) I wanted to drop in and lasso your attention to two of the sessions that are going to be available during DU Training Camp on Monday, April 20th!
These are two introductory sessions, meant for those that are thinking about using Docebo, in implementation/onboarding, in a newer role… or anyone that ~ this ain’t their first rodeo~ but is looking for a refresher! However, these aren’t just sessions where you sit there and listen to me rootin’ & tootin’ about a topic; you’re genuinely going to know how to do every single thing we talk about before you ride off into the sunset!
Key Concepts of User Management
We’ll talk and get your boots grounded in:
- User additional fields - when to use them & how to make them
- Branches vs groups - when to choose which, how to set them up, and how to manage moving forward
- Power users,, profiles, & resources - how to implement governance, how to wrangle, and how to set up a working Power user ecosystem
Key Concepts of Content Management
We’ll talk and get your boots grounded in:
- Training Materials - how these are the butter for your biscuits (aka the meat and potatoes for how you set up your courses)
- Creating courses - what options you have & where to lean into governance
- Learning plans - when these can save you time & how to start from the ground up
- Enrollments & enrollment rules - how to actually ensure your learners get access to your content & how to automate future enrollments to save time
Summary
Ultimately, these are the sessions that I wish I had as a customer when going through Docebo onboarding back in 2023 - demystifying what these processes look like and how they work from start to finish!
Are you going to be dusting off your boots to attend one or both of these sessions? If so, have you ever heard the term “governance” before? If you have, I’d love to know what it has meant to you in your roles!
