Reporting & Analytics

Hello,I’ve come across an issue with the My Team area and I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing. We have a member of staff who has two job roles, and in one of those roles they manage a team. They have a Manager 1 and a Manager 2 assigned to them. The person listed as Manager 1 is able to view the staff member’s team through the My Team area, but the person listed as Manager 2 can’t.Should the My Team area pull through the teams of the people you manage regardless of whether you’re set as Manager 1 or Manager 2, or is this only available to Manager 1?Thanks!

I’m a little perplexed by how external training is handled in reporting.A basic User Summary includes the courses a user is enrolled in or has completed, but external training doesn’t appear to be included. As far as I can tell, I have to look up each individual user to see their external training records. Is there a way to include External Training in a User Summary or another report so I can see all of a user’s training history in one place? The only workaround I’ve found is to upload the external training record and then enroll the user in a similar course in Docebo and manually mark it as completed. That way, when I pull a report, I can see that the user has completed that specific training. This works, but it creates duplicate work and somewhat defeats the purpose of using the External Training feature. There has to be an easier way to report on this. Has anyone found one?

I am trying to run a full course audit, and I am running into several issues.  I need the following information: Course title, Content type, Current category, Branch, status, owner and when it was last updated. I have tried several methods including creating a customer report, but I am not getting the information I need. Some reports show 695 courses, some reports show 2500 courses( (this is correcct). Any assidtance is greatly appreciated.

Greetings~ Does anyone know if I can/how to pull this report. We have a drop in question and answer session that our staff coordinates. We do not require enrollment or record these sessions but I do receive the attendance afterwards and issue a badge for attending/participation. I am trying to see if I can run a report that shows all the times this badge has been issued, the staff member who received it and the date it was issued.  I know I can click on the badge and see the number of times a staff member was awarded the badge and I can click on the number of times and see the dates, but I do not know how to export this data for all. I also looked at the audit trail but that did not give me the data I needed, primarily who received it, since I or another admin were always the one that issued it manually. Thank you!

Hello Everyone,We are now utilizing the Custom Reports Builder, as we can no longer create additional reports using Legacy Reports. With Legacy Reports, scheduled report emails included an Excel file attachment, which allowed recipients to access the data immediately. However, with reports created in the Custom Reports Builder, the scheduled email only provides a link to the report. This requires three additional clicks for users to access the same type of information.Has anyone found a way to have an Excel file attached to scheduled report emails generated from the Custom Reports Builder, similar to the functionality available in Legacy Reports?Any insights, workarounds, or best practices would be greatly appreciated.

I was wondering if there is a way for us to view any data regarding the star rankings on the courses. We have a few courses that received rankings but we can’t see who gave them or even the number of rankings received. We don’t have Extended Enterprise (Not sure if that’s relevant but wanted to include it in case it is) and we haven’t configured anything with Social Learning. Is there a way for us to view any kind of analytics for the star rankings?

Curious if anyone who has the “Enrollment Invitations via External Calendar” option enabled in their platform has found a way to report on RSVPs for events or knows of an API end point to use to get this data. I know where to go within each course to see but looking to pull the data across multiple courses.

We recently went live with our Docebo environment, and I have been running into an issue with my Power Users and their ability to view insight dashboards. I have set up a Power User profile for my users that have the ability to view insights and nothing more. (No other PU permissions)I also assigned them their individual groups as resources. I am getting an error that says “You can’t access this visual because the data is restricted. Contact the dataset owner to update the row-level security rules.” I did see in the Help Center articles that it can take up to 24 hours for permissions to fully apply to users after their initial login, but it has been over 72 hours for many of my power users. I had received this same issue with a test power user I created, but that test user has the ability to see all of my branches instead of a specific group. Is there something I’ve missed with a branch or group setting?

For an ILT course, if the course completion rule is set as ‘Percentage based: 75%’ (The course is marked as completed when the learner completes at least [n] % of the sessions in which they are enrolled), session completion rule: Training Material based (The session is marked as completed when the learner completes the Test training material). Event Attendance option: Mark the event as attended when the user joins the webinarMark the event as attended if the user accesses the recordingsWe are adding the recording of the session as a training material in the course. Now if a learner was not able to attend the live session and watches the recording of the session (which is added as training material) then how attendance is marked for those users. Additionally, if the recording of a session is added in recording section of session, is it possible to track the users who watched the recording?(Note: We are hosting webinars on Google meet, which is not integrated with Docebo)Event Attendance

Hi Team,How can I automatically generate monthly report for all the users who have completed their course, not completed , score obtained, time taken to complete etc via Docebo ?  Can this be generated per organization(for all users)? Thanks.

Hey Brains Trust,Currently, I have more than 50 shell courses, each with an Observation Checklist (OC) attached, that the Nursing team uses to complete skills assessments for workers. These courses are linked to multiple Learning Plans. As a result, when a course is completed within one Learning Plan, it is automatically recorded as completed in any other Learning Plan that contains the same course. However, to meet legislative and compliance requirements, the Nursing team may need to complete the same skills assessment for the same worker, but in relation to a different customer. When the Observation Checklist is completed, signed and submitted, this information is synchronised with another organisational system, which records that the worker has demonstrated competency for that specific customer. Workforce Planning then relies on this information to roster the worker appropriately, as they are considered compliant for that customer. My challenge is determining how the LMS can accurately

Hello, I am trying to set a report up so it shows certifications that are going to run out in the next 3 months but can’t seem to get the filters correct. Has anyone set a report up like this before or know the correct options to click or if it’s even possible?

Has anyone used any other scoring for Observation Checklists aside from Yes/No Pass/Fail?  Would like to have a 5 point scale (eg. Beginner-Mastery) used, but not seeing how that could be accomplished.  TIA!

It doesn’t look like there’s a way to create a custom report for Observation Checklists. How is everyone pulling reports for those?

Hi there,I’m having an issue with an Observation Checklist not being sent. It has the correct observer, today’s date stating it would be available immediately but it showing as planned. The observed has nothing under her checklists section. What could be happening?

If I created an ad-hoc report under Legacy reports and applied a filter to allow select super admins and power users to have visibility, how can I find out who I gave those permissions to? Docebo only tells me how many people have been selected but short of going through every single learner listed, there is no other way for me to know who has visibility to the report I shared. NOTE: I know these reports will no longer be accessible, I am trying to do a cleanup.

Hello,Our training department currently utilizes an Excel-based agenda as formal documentation confirming the completion of an in-person training week conducted by one of our business coaches. This agenda includes a section for both the trainee and the business coach to initial, indicating that each topic was reviewed and covered. I am exploring the use of Observation Checklists as a potential replacement; however, I am encountering challenges in identifying a way to include the trainee in the process so they can both provide feedback and confirm that the topics were addressed. These agendas are frequently referenced if questions or disputes arise regarding whether appropriate training was provided, and I am struggling to find a simple, fully digital solution within the platform that effectively replaces the accountability and acknowledgment provided by the current hand-signed agendas. Any help/ guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I have several courses that have an Observation Checklist attached.  The current status is that the courses are marked as completed when the user has completed the eLearning, even though the OC is sitting in progress. Is there a way to run a report of all in progress Observation Checklists which indicates users have completed the eLearning and are waiting for the assessment to take place?

We have created a scheduled report for external trainings waiting for approval that runs every three days.  The vast majority of the time, there is no data in the report (not trainings waiting on approval). Is there a way to only have the report send if there is data in it?

Is there a way to run a report on how many coins users have in the platform?

We are preparing to launch a new learning program for one of our extended enterprises and are currently evaluating how best to configure skills and skills reporting for this audience. We were originally just planning to add Skills and Tags so the learners can search the catalogs.Could you share some insights on your approach for the implementation? Can the Skills Dashboard be enabled only for a specific extended enterprise, rather than globally across all audiences? Are there any limitations or considerations we should be aware of when applying this setup to a program that will initially include three catalogs and approximately 15 learning plans? Can skills still be effectively tracked and reported without using job roles, given that learners for this program come from multiple industries?

Currently, the Monthly Active User (MAU) count on the Usage Dashboard shows the total monthly active users per domain. I can’t separate this by team or group. I am looking for average MAUs/Month for the last 12 months so that I can see this as a % of total of team members within my groups who utilize the platform each month. Are there any workarounds I can explore?

In our Docebo platform, anyone who passes an exam shows as “completed” and anyone who fails an exam shows as “in progress”. Users also get 3 attempts at passing the exam. I’m looking for a report that I can set for a specific timeframe (monthly) and show every user who accessed the system during that timeframe and is either “completed” or “in progress”. Basically I want to record the pass/fail rate for our exams for the specified period. So far I have found the reporting functionality in Docebo very limited. I can set the “completed” timeframe but then “in progress” people don’t show. I can show the status of ALL users, but then I’m exporting 40,000 records to sift through to get a picture of one month. I can look at training material statistics but can only see “completed”.Can anyone tell me which type of report I should be selecting and the settings for reporting both “completed” and “in progress”?Thank you!

Has anyone experienced something similar? As part of onboarding, it was mentioned that Learning Evaluation would be available under Training Materials (as shown in the picture below). However, after reviewing our current setup, it doesn’t appear to be there.I’m wondering if this is something that needs to be activated separately, added manually, or if it’s located somewhere else in the system. Has anyone had to take additional steps to get this feature to show up?Any insight on how you were able to access it would be greatly appreciated!

Currently, Docebo does not offer a built-in "Pending Evaluation" or ''waiting for evaluation'' status for tests awaiting instructor review. This limitation means that learners see a "Failed" status because their submission doesn't meet the minimum passing score due to pending evaluation. How are you working around this limitation?
