Users, Groups & Enrollments

I’d like new starters to be automatically enrolled onto the next available induction session.Ideally, they would be enrolled as part of the onboarding process, with the induction session automatically added to their calendar. New starter added to the system > Automatically enrolled onto the next available induction session > Induction date added to their Outlook calendar = Seamless induction process. Is this possible?

Hi Docebo community,As my team has been releasing more training programs on Docebo, we’ve noticed an uptick of users with deactivated accounts reaching out to us with problems logging in. I wanted to see if other teams have an elegant solution for reactivating accounts, or suggestions on improving our process:Right now it looks like:Email is sent to support about not being able to log into their LMS account. We reset their password to a generic temporary one. Use the “Send activation notification” option which includes the temporary password in the messaging. Email the user back saying we’ve reset their password and to keep an eye out on their account. As we release more programs I envision the number of requests will balloon. It would be nice if users can request their accounts to be reactivated directly on Docebo!Thank you in advance for any interesting ideas!

Our company offers a bi-monthly live Zoom call for a department. users can enroll in an ‘event’ and use the Zoom link that is provided in each to access that call.Users are not able to get on future calls because they have already been marked as having attended previous calls, or ‘events.’ They can attend as many ‘events’ as is needed. Is there a way to set up the ILT where enrollments are not counted by just attending once? Thank you!

Those with large Enterprise accounts. Do you have opinions or solutions for Power Users to have access to Reporting? What have you found as pros/cons of adding this permission to their profile?

I’m trying to set up an automatic group based on 2 conditions:email contains 1 of 50 different address options ANDa specific additional field selectionI think I’m getting stumped on the conditions and sets being required to be satisfied.

Has anyone tried using API calls to retrieve AI-generated feedback or the quantitative and qualitative evaluation scores, rather than viewing the submissions on the reviewers' side? Also, how do you manage the progress reports and seeing them after submission?

Hello,I have done a CSV upload with around 3000 records on and 231 have come back saying there is a error with either the certification code or course code. I’ve checked several of the rows and the codes are all correct.Has anyone ever come across this and know what is the issue? I've been trying to figure this out for hours and can’t find a common link between any of the rows.I’ve made sure there are no formulas or spaces in the rows, it’s saved as a CSV, there’s no duplicate rows. The rows that are coming back with a error are scattered throughout the spreadsheet so i’m really confused. Thanks!

Is there any plan for future updates to be able to delete multiple groups at once? We would like to be able to delete 20 or 30 groups at once when they’re no longer needed. Deleting them one at a time, as you can imagine, is very time consuming.

Hi everyone,I'm trying to configure a Power User so they can change the status of specific training materials (modules) within an e-learning course and reset the module completion status back to 0%.Currently, the Power User:Has access to the course report Has the Courses / Evaluation permission enabled Is assigned the course as a managed resource Can view learners' module completion statuses Can update learners' overall course enrollment statusesHowever, they are unable to reset the completion status of individual modules, while a Superadmin can perform this action successfully. Are there any additional permissions, resource assignments, or settings required to allow a Power User to reset training material completion statuses?Any thoughts, ideas, or insights would be most appreciative. I've attached a screenshot of the current permissions assigned to the Power User for further context of their capabilities.  UPDATE from @kaitlyn.whiteley on Aug 28 : Hi Everyone, I was able to get the i

We use the SFDC integration to create new users on Docebo. Our requirement is to notify a manager when a new team member is added. The user documentation does not explicitly mention this but would the “Team member added to a team” trigger to Managers even if the team member is added via SFDC?  Here’s the link to the kb article: https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/4429113070226-Notification-events-and-conditions#User

What’s the easiest way to unenroll a user from multiple courses?  We have HR team members who show other users how to enroll in courses and as a result are now enrolled in dozens of courses that they won’t ever actually take.  Is there an easy way to unroll a user from a large number at once.

HelloWe are automatically adding users to a new group based on completing a specific learning plan. When they are in the new group, they will see a new home page. This works very well. However, we also want to automatically remove users from the previous group. Docebo help indicates:We are unable to determine how to configure the conditions that will automatically remove users from the previous group. Has anyone done this? If yes, how was it done?Thank you,

Hello fellow Docebians,I need help in generating a report with the following specs:-Branch report-Users that have completed-4 specific certifications. I ran some reports prior to this but I am lost in the step where specifics were chosen. Thank you

Our system updated with the GA release on 7/23/2026 introducing new navigation. We have an Extended Enterprise. We have had two tickets raised from Managers in the External users who are also Power Users. Since 7/23 they were unable to access their reports for their team. Upon viewing their accounts, when clicking on “My Team” from the new side panel, some items from the manager dashboard showed an access error. Team members: Populated with the correct people.  Courses: Would not load: Denied access Learning Plans: Would not load: Denied access Skills Overview: Did not error on loading Checklists: Did not error on loading Reports: Did not error on loading. Reports would not generate, or generated an empty worksheet. For comparison: When viewing internal users who were Managers and Power Users we were unable to duplicate this issue, dashboards loaded correctly. How we are currently fixing this issue: After testing we have applied a “View Only Insights” permission to the Power User profi

We have thousands of external training “events” where an employee has taken a course outside of our organization but we need to maintain records for certification. For example, taking First Aid CPR with the Red Cross. Is there a way for me to bulk update their external historical records to add it to the First Aid CPR certification to tell them it expires in 2 years? This is one of many examples. I can figure out which external training goes to which certification. I understand it would have been better to have had them/us check the box when entering the new activity, but now I have literally thousands of records to update and I’m looking for a solution.Thanks.

I'm looking for an efficient way to identify where User Additional Fields are being used throughout Docebo, as they can be referenced across groups, catalog visibility rules, enrollments, and other platform configurations.I'm trying to avoid manually reviewing every group, catalog, and configuration individually, which can become very time-consuming.Is there a way to audit or report on where a specific User Additional Field is being used across the platform or a recommended best practice for tracking these dependencies?

We're trying to determine whether there's a feature that allows us to archive an individual's entire learning profile/assigned courses, or a setting that automatically reassigns training when an employee is rehired. We understand that Docebo retains prior completion history unless it is explicitly reset using the Archive Enrollments feature, which is the process we currently follow. Just trying to find out if there is a setting that can automate this.

Hi Docebo Community,We have a field called Project Manager, that captures names, I am trying to use this field in a report I’m building but is it not showing as an option. Any idea what could be causing this? I’m not sure how to check if this field came with our account my default, as I don’t see it listed under the Additional Fields.Thank You!

Hi, I need some help with reporting on Team Members fields in the user profile. I’ve setup multiple managers that can be assigned to a user. How do I get a report with these new manager fields?  I’m using the Custom Report: New Report > UsersManager Assistant Manager Lead Safety ManagerThe Manager field displays on reports. The Assistant Manager, Lead, and Safety Manager fields do not display on reports. New Report > Users report field options shows the Manager and many of the fields from the Additional Fields tab, but none of the fields I need from the Team Members tab.Am I using the wrong report?

Hi everyone,Just curious as I wasn’t able to find anything googling online. What does the Send Notification column on the Users page supposed to mean? I see it displays either Yes or No.

Greetings, I am getting started with Extended Enterprise in my Sandbox. I understand based on this statement from Docebo Help, “Please note that all users are allowed to access the main domain, as every user is associated with the root branch.” that users can access their root or main domain.Example, root domain is Company - test.docebosaas.comFirst sub domain is Company/DomainA - test.docebosaas.com/domainaSecond sub domain is Company/DomainB - test.docebosaas.com/domainbIs there any way to keep Domain A or Domain B folks from seeing the content in the root domain? My goal is to keep everyone in each of the domains and not have anything available in the root domain.

We are currently working on setting up Docebo for our organization. I am baffled that there is no way to tag a course with multiple topics and have those topics be filterable in the Course Catalog.Does ANYONE have a solution to this?P.S. The fact that I can tag this question with multiple tags, but not actually courses, is ironic.

Hello! How can we create a Manager assignment in Docebo Connect (using Create user in Docebo) if our own system we’re pulling the values from doesn’t store the Manager IDs that Docebo seems to ask for - only Manager Name and email?  We have really been hitting our heads against the wall on this one… Any help appreciated!

Hello everyone. Hello everyone,I was wondering if you have tested the Archive Tab released in the last few months.I have some concerns about it, particularly regarding the specifications—especially the last one highlighted in red below. It indicates that archiving a course will permanently remove all certification records. Based on this, we may not use this functionality, as it could lead to potential data loss.Could you please share your feedback on this? I believe this is a good feature, but we want to ensure that no data is lost. According to the Knowledge Base, only course progress and certificates are maintained. Therefore, I am wondering if Docebo is planning to preserve certification data as well. If so, this Archive Tab could provide significant benefits for improving the content lifecycle and searchability.I think this section in the knowledge base is misleading. Course archiving provides a structured approach to remove outdated or inactive courses from learner-facing pages wh

I have a fairly urgent issue and need your support. We are planning to launch an e-learning course early next week. For the group with career level A, the course should be optional. For the group with career level B, it should be mandatory and include a completion deadline of 21 days. To achieve this, I would create the corresponding enrollment rules. However, I have run into the following issues: It is not possible to roll out a course where one group has a completion deadline and another group does not. If a user is promoted from career level A to career level B, the priority of their original enrollment remains unchanged. One idea that came up was to enroll users with career level B into a learning plan that contains this course and to set the 21-day completion deadline at the learning plan level instead of the course level. While I like this approach in principle, it creates another challenge for us. We currently retrieve course completion data via API and all of our downstream proc
