Looking for feedback on how others would handle this.(Yay we get more reporting coming on event status, but…..I don’t know if that answers my questions/problem.)If you mark a learner absent on an event for a course that is attendance based for course completion. It shows their status as ‘in progress’.I don’t know what the right answer is here. I don’t think it’s fair to mark them complete, they didn’t show up. BUT the course is over, they can never complete it.I want to capture that they didn’t show up, I don’t want to show a completion on course reporting (Credit where it isn’t due), but I also don’t want it to hang out forever on their in progress course list.I could mark them as ‘suspended’ I guess? What does that status even mean? How are you all dealing with this?

Hi all,We’re looking for a way for Power Users organizing a specific session to collect additional information during registration, for example dietary requirements or whether a participant has completed a prerequisite course.Ideally, the Power User could either create questions for that session or select from predefined questions created by an administrator. The important part is that these questions should be session-specific, rather than applied to the entire course (template), as requirements can vary between sessions. We would also like to avoid collecting this information separately by email. We haven’t found a way to configure this at session level. How are others handling this? Are there any workarounds or alternative approaches you would recommend? If the functionality isn’t currently available, we may turn this into a Docebo feature request/use case. Thanks!

We have just setup a new menu and some pages to display courses in a catalogue. As a super user we can:See the catalogue name in the menu and click on it.The main page is displayed offering the main categories. Only one at the moment as we are testing it.Click on CLICK HERE and our sub page is displayed as expected. However, when we log on as a user, we can see the menu and click on it and get the first page. But when we click CLICK HERE, we get an access denied message? What are we missing?

Hello all,Since early August we have had users reporting scoring issues within scorm modules . . . recently it has become an every day, multiple users a day issue and the they are getting increasingly frustrated. They complete the scorm and pass the included assessment, but it scores them with a zero. Many of them take the module multiple times before they report it so it can be marked complete for them. I have a ticket open with Docebo (who says the issue is within the scorm itself, but nothing has changed) and I have reported it to our scorm developer but there is no solution yet from either. Docebo says it is the scorm, and the scorm developer has said they “heard there were scoring issues since Chrome did an update.”  The users ARE completing the module before exiting, and are on both Chrome and Edge so no pattern there. We have several of our customers who will be launching their annual education soon and many rely very heavily on the scorm content.  Any ideas here of what else I

I have just set us up to be a training provider through the American Red Cross and I am the instructor.Has anyone ever tried to integrate this type of training into the platform? I would like to use their blended models where learners take the course online and then attend the in-person skills course with me.There are ways to request these from the red cross before-hand and I would like for the course in the LMS platform to check for completion of the online portion and sign up for the sessions. The way the red cross is set up, it may be difficult to do the workflow how it would work best for our group. I would like for us to host twice a month skills courses and the learners/employees know and sign up for a session and then I can ensure the online portion was done before hand, if not, they would wait until the next available instructor led session.I know that having the online portion be an integrated AICC course would be asking way too much. From the LMS side, it could just be an ass

As an observer, I have noticed that if you try and submit the checklist before all the fields are filled out you do not receive an error message. It simply doesn’t do anything and doesn’t tell you which question you missed/skipped over. Does anyone else experience this? On the contrary, the observed users completing the acknowledgement for the checklist do indeed receive an error if attempting to submit without filling out the necessary fields. Am I missing something?

Hi everyone,I don’t usually create eLearnings in my team but I wanted to get something out quickly and tried Creator for the first time.I had the problem that I would regularly “lose” content when creating a lesson. Meaning I would add content, then click Preview and the content would not be there. I would close the preview and literally what I just added was gone. I noticed that Creator seems to be doing an auto-save periodically and I could reproduce this by clicking the Preview while this auto-save was happening. However, it also seemed to happen at other times, when the auto-save was not happening. Has anyone else experienced this? I talked to another colleague who had recently created a Creator Lesson and she had the same problem.

Hello, I’m running into an issue with forum discussions and was hoping someone might have some ideas.I’ve created a forum discussion within a course, but when I view the course from a user account, the Forum widget is visible, but the discussion itself does not appear in the widget.A few things I’ve checked:The discussion is not hidden. The forum is only attached to this one course and is not being shared across multiple courses. The user can see the Forum widget itself. I tested creating a forum and discussion in another course and experienced the same behavior.Has anyone experienced this before, or does anyone know what could prevent a forum discussion from appearing in the Forum widget even though the widget itself is visible?I’ll add screenshots below showing my forum/discussion settings and what the user sees for reference. Thanks in advance for any ideas or troubleshooting suggestions!Users Point of View AboveContent Creators Training Materials Tab View Above

Hi team,We have a course published with a final exam, and the course validity end date is September 30, 2026. For the enrollment validity period, we have set the number of days available to learners to 45 days. We have also enabled the soft deadline because we would like learners to continue accessing the course training material even after the course end date—for example, for new staff who may be enrolled later.I would like to confirm whether the final exam, which is set at the end of the course, will also remain accessible to learners after the course end date when the soft deadline is enabled, or whether the soft deadline only keeps the course lessons/training material accessible. Our objective is to ensure that both the training material and the final exam remain accessible to learners after the course end date, particularly for new staff/trainees.Also, I’m not sure whether this makes a difference, but our exams are sometimes developed using a content authoring tool such as Adobe an

Hi,I’m wondering if anyone else has been experiencing issues with accessing forums in courses.Since yesterday, we’ve been able to see all existing forums in the course settings under Training Materials, but have received several reports that learners only see the Forum widget with no forum content displayed beneath it.This appears to have started yesterday, around the time we typically see updates come to our production environment.Has anyone else encountered this issue? We opened a ticket, but haven’t heard back yet.

Are there any plans to improve the way information can be displayed in a Creator hotspot pop-up dialog? Right now it’s all just single line text. I understand the purpose is to not write a whole page of descriptions inside of the pop-up, but even being able to add things like bold text or something as simple as adding a new line would be great. I had to eventually put text below the image element to explain things with bold text and 3 bullet points because I could not do that in the hotspot text. To me, this takes away from convenience of getting brief information in a hotspot dialog when the user clicks.

Hi Docebo Community,I have looked all over online and in the community, and before I come back to a stakeholder and have to be the bearer of bad news and tell them “no, sorry we can’t help you migrate these old files from your old Oracle “LMS type system” to Docebo” … i figured I would ask the question here. Has anyone ever had to migrate content from an old Oracle / JD Edwards system? The files are “ODARC files” which when used on an Oracle system that can play the files, basically shows some 2010’s-style job aids and screen recordings of how to use various software systems when played on this other system.  here’s the notes on ODARC and these UPK files from Google search FYI 😉An ODARC file is a compressed developer archive used by the Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK) to store and transfer exported documentation, training content, and outlines between different libraries. What is an ODARC File?Purpose: It bundles related documents, topics, and training modules from Oracle UPK into

I am attempting to upload a training history CSV report from our current database into Docebo.  I have aligned the course ID’s and codes, usernames, etc. but cannot find how to mark them as complete via a date in the past.  These are E-Learning courses.

Hello - I’m new to managing playlists and would love some clarity. We do not allow users to upload assets. Is that why the Invite to View button is visible but not functional for them? What is the best way a user can share a playlist with others? Copy and paste URL into an email? Does a playlist need to be published to be shared/visible by others?Invite to View button not functionalAlso, even though we have “allow users to create public playlists” enabled, we do not allow users to share content with any channels, so they cannot make their playlist public (our preference). My question is, is there a reason we shouldn’t disable “allow users to create public playlists” in the Social Learning settings? Does that setting affect any other areas?Thank you for any help you can provide! :)

When creating a new session for one of our courses, it is rare that there is a variance from the course learning plan. We would like the ability to click a button or link to easily copy the course description to the session description field.  Is this possible? I didn’t see it in my searches

Hi everyone.I have an existing course which successfully ran with three sessions, all marked ended. I added two new sessions to the course, each with its own event and the course is in the same catalogue as before, following the same approach and same options we always use. The sessions have also appeared in my digital calendar as it is an online event. These two sessions show up for me as creator and for my co-instructor. However, no one else can see them!I have recently created a series of new sessions/events in other courses and it has worked fine. Is there a recent bug about adding new sessions to an existing course? Have I missed something…?

Hello everyone,I’m not sure if anyone knows the answer to this, but throwing it out there for some insights. Recently, we noticed that a widget was added inside iLT courses where it recommends/suggests other courses you might be interested in. When a user clicks on an iLT course, if they scroll down passed the sessions scheduled, they get some suggestions of other courses. It looks like this: Does anyone know what, in the system, drives these recommendations? Is it random, or can it be tailored based on tags or skills? We would love to use these better if we can. But if it is random, we will have to try to turn it off. Curious to see if anyone has more info on this. Thank you,Andree-Anne

I have a course that covers a particular topic and will have multiple videos about that topic. I also anticipate that there will be additional content to add about that topic in the future. If a learner has taken a course and completed all the materials but then new content is added, what happens? Does their course status change from complete to in progress? Is it better to place this content into a learning plan instead to better track progress in watching all the videos?

Hi I’m hoping someone can help. I am currently a super admin within our platform and we have some power users in the system too.  I have set up an assignment within a course as we want staff to upload a document. This is working and when staff upload the document I can see it but the power users I need to see it can see it is completed but the EVALUATE button is not there for them to view or download the file. I feel like its something really simple but I cannot figure out what I am missing. Can someone please help?

Help! So, i created a course, put the course in a specific Catalog and Channel. This specific group and channel is only visible to a group. However, upon checking on the course, a Power User enrolled the learners to a course they should not have visibility with. How can I limit it to users who just have visibility to?

We’re new to Docebo and are currently using it for delivering our product education to customers.Currently, we have two catalogs, one for education for clinical audiences and one for education for technical audiences. Each catalog contains a mix of free and for-purchase instructor-led classes and asynchronous eLearning.I would like to be able to “group” courses and display them together based on functionality, primarily for promotional purposes.  For example, all courses related to version 2.0 could appear together, all courses for product XYZ could appear together, etc.Is there the ability to create micro-sites or landing pages (using the more traditional marketing definition of landing pages, not the Docebo definition) where courses can be grouped so we have a single link that we can send to direct users to multiple related courses at the same time?

We are new to Docebo and have just recently rolled out our first wave of instructor-led courses for sale to customers. We are pushing the eCommerce option to get customers to pay online with a credit card, but many of our enterprise customers still prefer to generate a PO.  Is it possible for a user to generate a quote for a course from the course description page instead of adding the course to the cart?

Hi all!For the tests, can I set up a waiting period between test attempts without limiting the number of attempts? From what I can see now, I do not get the option for a waiting period if my maximum number of test attempts is 0 (the setting for unlimited attempts).    Is my option to just make my maximum number of attempts something ridiculously high?

We are trying to expand our certification program to a level based approach, where a user has to complete level 1 before they can start to engage with level 2 content. Has anyone configured this in Docebo? The only thing I have found is that the course has to exist in the learning path in order to establish a prerequisite.

Hey community,Has anyone else received any requests in regards to the course navigation Previous and Next Buttons? Since our LMS have launched, most of the questions I’ve received from our learners have been related to these buttons that make me think we have a UI/UX issue. Here are more details - I’d like to know if any of you have experienced something similar and how you solved it? Thanks! Here are the steps our users follow:The user accesses a course One of the course lessons has slides that need to be navigated Instead of navigating the slides with “<” and “>”, the user clicks on “Next” Since next is linked to accessing the next lesson (not the next slide) the user gets an error “Prerequisites not met” (for those courses with sequential navigation) The user gets confused and contacts LMS administrators In any case, I think there could be more ways to set up the navigation player or a quick-win fix. Unless I’m not aware that it already exists.P.S. Please Ignore the dark blocks
