ILT & Events

We are testing out using ILTs to record in-person classes. We’ve created a Manual-recording ILT course. We’d like to allow our trainers to write why someone didn’t appear for class, or why they had to be gone for X hours. Is there a way to do this?Thank you!

In the My Dashboard > My Team page, what is the CSS code to hide the "Checklists" tab and the "Remove from Team" options?

Marking “show the course to only enrolled users” does not remove expired session visibility to learners. When a power user wants to enroll a new learner into a course, they can still see past expired sessions. I have seen the work arounds of labeleing them with a “z” or something, or manually going in to delete, but we don’t want to delete expired sessions or change names. How can we keep the sessions inside of the course, but have the system automatically remove anything that’s expired from the learner’s view?

Hello everyone,I have a question regarding ILT Sessions in Docebo. When an instructor attaches supporting materials (such as a PDF) as part of a session evaluation, I can no longer find a way for learners to access those attachments in the new UI.In the previous UI, learners could open the session evaluation section, see the instructor's evaluation, and download any attached documents from there. After the transition to the new UI, I can no longer find this option.Does anyone know how learners can view or download files attached by instructors in a session evaluation using the new UI?Any guidance or experience would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!Best regards,Hiroko Obo

Help - I have searched and searched and searched ! Dear Harmony took me to a error page, when she said she had the answer:-( I am hoping I have missed something somewhere and this is possible. Can you change/adapt  the calendar attachment ? If so can someone point me in the right direction - where can this be done in Docebo and how. I am finding what is sent is dull and boring and want to make it more engaging similar to the notification. I am hoping I have missed something and it is possible.

We currently use the Enrolment Validity Period setting in the course shell for our eLearning courses, which gives new starters six months to complete their training. This works really well for eLearning, but there doesn't seem to be an equivalent setting for ILT courses, which is quite frustrating. For ILT courses, the available option is:"Enable days of validity for this course. Learners will be able to access the course for a limited number of days after the end of the last session in which they are enrolled." I know it's also possible to manage this through a Learning Plan, but when this approach is used, the due date doesn't appear under the Due Date column in My Records > All Courses. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue or frustration? If so, have you found a workaround that provides a visible due date for learners? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Hi EveryoneWhen setting up a virtual ILT session/event using an external training provider’s MS Teams linkI know in the past Learners have been able to see a live countdown when they accessed the course tile on their My Learning page and the JOIN button would appear based on a timescale set by me.I have just set up some vILT sessions/events for next week but when I login as one of the Learners to check that everything looks as it should, there is no countdown. How soon before the start of the vILT session/event does the countdown become visible to Learners please?I plan to send out instructions on how to access a vILT as this will be a new experience for all the Learners but didn’t want to mention the countdown if it is not visible to them. Many thanksSarah

Hello all,We are currently having this issue where users are going through all the course material before a scheduled ILT takes place resulting in absences when the ILT actually happens. We are looking for ways that this can be done in Docebo. We tested out creating a 1-question quiz before the final course quiz that users must get from their instructor, but we realize that this password must be maintained and refreshed every so often and has to be distributed across all of our organization and each ILT will need to have one. Hoping to hear how everyone else has gone around this issue

We are currently using course catalogs to organize learning content by competency within our competency model. As our catalog library continues to grow, it becomes increasingly difficult for employees to locate the competency catalog they need. Currently, users must scroll through the catalog list and repeatedly select "Show More" until they find the appropriate option.Would it be possible to add an additional filter that allows users to quickly narrow the list and navigate directly to the catalog they are looking for? This would significantly improve the user experience, particularly for organizations leveraging a large number of catalogs.I have noticed several enhancement requests across the platform that appear to be requesting similar functionality, although many of them have been closed. Is there a technical limitation that prevents this type of filtering, or is it something that could be considered for future development? As competency-based learning continues to expand, improving

Hi Docebo Community,We’re launching our Docebo platform soon and I have a question about calendar functionality. We want learners to see ALL company-wide events in one place within Docebo, including:ILTs (in calendar) Marketing webinars  company-wide summit Is there a way to add ‘external events’ with a registration link to the learner calendar in Docebo?

On Docebo Help it guides me to the Admin menu and then says there is “Learning Evaluation” in the Apps and Features part of the menu - I dont seem to have that option (yes I am a SuperAdmin!)

Hey all! I’m coming to you for help! Recently (just over 3 weeks ago) our Teams Integration quit working. I submitted a Ticket, but after three weeks I haven’t gotten any answers from Support. And in the last few days this has caused quite an issue for us (so much we have had to cancel training). I need a solution so asking for anyone who has experienced to help me figure out what else I need to troubleshoot!  (See attached screenshots for an idea of the messages the system gives us when trying to set up a new vILT session/event). In the past, we have had certificate errors (they have expired), but we check and that isn’t the case.  Our Secret Keys and other account numbers are matching, what else can we check? What am I missing!? It’s also worth noting our Zoom Integration has had issues in the past, but it is up and running just fine (well expect for a Daylight savings issue but that’s a post for another day   )Thanks for any advice or help you may provide!

Hello, our use case scenario is: Multiple departments get different onsite training. When I say multiple departments I mean between 10 - 15 departments and growing. We need to record each day’s attendance. I can create either one course or a course for each department. If I create a session and event, there will be an event for as many days in the year for each of the departments. That’s a huge amount of events. As of now only attendance will be taken, in the near future content and exams will be added. I know I can create one session and add multiple events for that session. Each session may last several weeks with a possibility of 21 events. Sessions are recurring. If anyone has a work around or any ideas on the best practice for this or the most efficient way to maintain something like this I really appreciate it. Thank you so much!

Hi All, wondering if anyone has any experience with this and can shed some light on it. Sometimes, when we assign an instructor to a session via the VILT MS Teams integration,  that the session will appear 2 times on the instructors calendar. We do not use shared caledars, each instructor has the session set to thier own account. We cannot pinpoint why or when this happens. When it does happen each teams event has a different meeting ID. To Resolve we have to have the instructor delete the events from their calendar manually, then we remove their account from the assignment of the session, save and then readd it, and the session will go back with just 1 event in the calendar. Help. It is very annoying.

Hi all,We are just about to go live with the LMS but we’re having a hard time convincing out IT team to integrate Docebo Connect. They have some reservations about the way the data is moved in and out of the the portal from O365. I was wondering if there were any colleagues from other Universities on here that have used the integration and would be happy to have a chat about how it’s worked for you? Thanks in advance!

If I need to send an outside vendor the Zoom URL for an upcoming Zoom Meeting for a ILT course, how do I find the URL?

Hello, I am trying to Lauch a live event. I have double checked the following: Session is set up correctlyEvent set up correctly. Teams still showing paired. When I go to launch the event as an instructor the button is there that says “Start Live Event” I can click it and my teams pop up. However, I get a message across the screen that says, “Live Event has not yet Started” This never goes away and I am not able to do anything. My IT department says Teams is integrated correctly. Checking here for help on something I might have missed. Thank you

Hi,  If I create an event that is hybrid/flexible AND set to mark attendance if the user attends the webinar. Should it still register attendance for the users that attend remotely? I have experienced issues where users who have attended the webinar are not automatically marked as attended - but only on the hybrid/flexible events - ones that are remote only are marked fine.

The Teams helpfile states that "Only the account that is paired with the Docebo - Microsoft Teams integration can be the organizer of an event."We’re currently in soft launch testing, and as the primary account Admin, I’m currently the only person who is able to manage breakout rooms in Teams and receive the post-event attendance rosters. This is unmanageable in a company of our size. We need trainers to be able to use breakout rooms and track attendance for their events, and we have a lot of them.Is there any way for Instructors to gain access to the organizer functionality without being the paired integration organizer as stated in the documentation? Has anyone found a workaround using the native Teams integration? The only solution we’ve able to come up with is to select Custom Tool in the Video Conference settings instead, and paste the link to the Teams meeting. However we lose benefits of Teams integration - mainly the ability to track Teams events inside Docebo. How are you using

Hey there Brains Trust,We have external providers deliver ILT and want to set up QR codes for user attendance but the instructors are not users in our system.Any advice on how to manage this?  We have an Outlook Connect recipe already established for users.

This may strike some of you as a dumb question, but I don’t care, I’ve spent too long looking for a definitive answer without finding one.If we configure Docebo VILT for Microsoft Teams, will attendance in Docebo be synced from the actual attendance records in Microsoft Teams?

Looking for a demo of how you use MS Teams for vILT sessions. We are testing and it doesnt seem to work as we expected and think we may have a setting incorrect. We need to be able to launch multiple sessions at the same time with different instructors. I have tread the documents and other posts, but would really benefit from a demo that has worked for others.

Hi all! I was wondering if there was any type of resource on the overview of the My Teams tab and how to use it? (I don’t want anything about how to set it up) Just an overview of what it does

Hello! I’d like to get some perspective from the community. Currently, we require users to complete three ILTs during their technical onboarding. Learning Plan 1 - The Basics: eLearning 1 eLearning 2 eLearning 3 ILT/Session 1 ILT/Session 2 Learning Plan 2 - Advanced: (users must complete session 1 and 2 to unlock) ILT/Session 3 The challenge is that users cannot register for session 3 before completing session 1 and session 2. Because of this restriction, there is an inevitable gap between when users complete session 1 and 2 and when they can register and complete session 3. Users want to be able to register for all 3 at the same time. At a glance, the solution might be to just put session 3 in the first learning plan, but we encountered challenges were users were enrolling into the sessions out of order. And yes, this does happen between session 1 and 2 as well, which requires admin intervention.  It’s important to note that these are recurring ILTs/Sessions. We continuously add

I’m brainstorming for the most efficient way for “no-shows” to be removed from a session that they registered for but did not attend. Right now, users have to go back to the session they registered for but did not attend and withdraw from that session before being able to register for another session. Any guidance is appreciated!
