Integrations & APIs

Hi,We have a use case where for a live seminar, we want to know how much of the live event the user attended.  Along the lines of:  if the live event is 1 hour and the user attended 30 minutes they get partial credit (50%).  Can I rely on the number being recorded or would it not be accurate for the use case above? For eLearning by contrast appears to be an open timer and only one bucket for time (session time + training material time).  So could get a numbers like 2 hours attendance for an expected one hour course. References (returns time_in_course as mentioned): /learn/v1/ilt/get_multiple_ilt_sessions?course_ids[]=<id>/learn/v1/courses/report?idCourse=<id> Looking for any insights!Best,Ron

Hi all,I'm trying to integrate Docebo with a Moodle/Totara instance that is exposing content using Publish as LTI Tool (LTI Advantage / LTI 1.3) and wondered if anyone has successfully implemented this? EnvironmentDoceboLTI 1.3 Training MaterialMoodleMoodle 4.4 (test environment) Publish as LTI Tool LTI Advantage (1.3)The eventual target is a Totara environment, but I'm using Moodle to understand the behaviour first. Progress so farAfter a lot of troubleshooting, we've successfully resolved:Issuer mismatch errors Redirect URI errors OIDC login failures Missing id_token launch errorsThe current configuration successfully:Registers the platform Completes OIDC authentication Generates and sends a valid JWT launch token Provisions/authenticates usersThe JWT launch contains standard LTI claims including:Issuer Audience Deployment ID Context Roles Resource Link IDSo from an authentication perspective, the launch appears healthy. Current IssueMoodle returns:Invalid launch data. Hi everyone,We're evaluating Zoom v3 for Instructor-Led Training (ILT) events and would love to hear from organizations that have implemented it.Our primary goals are:Automatic attendance and completion tracking Eliminating the need to manually generate Zoom links for every ILT sessionFor those using Zoom v3 today:How has the implementation experience been? Have you encountered any issues or limitations? Has attendance/completion tracking worked as expected? What surprised you after go-live? If you could do it again, what would you do differently? Any recommendations or lessons learned before implementation? We'd appreciate any insights, best practices, or pitfalls to avoid.Thank you!

Hello, We use Docebo as our LMS and recently started a subscription with Kahoot! on a Spirit Premium plan. We are interested in loading the Kahoots into Docebo as course content, but we have trouble making the two systems communicate completion reports. From what I understand, we need an LTI 1.3 Advantage integration with Kahoot! to make a seamless integration, but Docebo does not currently support the LTI 1.3 Advantage, just 1.3 Basic. Has anyone else experienced something like this, and what did you do to fix the issue? We are aware there are other ways around the problem, such as using the API feature. Please let me know if you have any advice.Kind regards.

Hi everyone,I had a bit of a fire to put out today! I had over 600 users who were suddenly locked out of several courses because their enrolment validity periods had all expired at the same time.I’m still trying to figure out how the dates were originally applied since those courses are always available and don’t have any validity periods on them. At first I though maybe an admin or power user did a batch enrolment and set an expiration date, but I checked the audit trail it looks like each of those users had self-enrolled. What’s more is that the expiration dates were exactly the same across users, courses, and enrolment dates; like down to the second exact. In theory it should’ve been a straight forward fix: just remove the validity period. But on 600+ users, doing it by hand wasn’t feasible. I ended up writing a script to automate it, but I ran into some gotchas:When calling GET /learn/v1/enrollments/{courseID}/{userID}, it doesn’t return the validity period info. So I couldn’t even

According to the API document post /learn/v1/enrollments, there is only one session id in payload. Hey Docebo Community — Looking to get some assistance with an automation idea.Essentially, what I’m trying to do is create an automation (likely via Docebo Connect) to update new course and learning plan enrollments to “Required” if the `user_id` and `subscriber_id` are not equal (i.e., mark a course as required if it has been assigned by someone other than the learner).I have minimal experience using the Connect platform, but am comfortable with other automation-building tools (like Airtable or Power Automate). So far, I’ve been able to get a working test of a “new course enrollment” webhook as a trigger and filter the trigger within Docebo Connect, but I’m unsure how to actually update the enrollment priority (or if there is any other considerations I should be aware of)..Based on other Community posts I’ve seen, it looks like the ideal API endpoint might be `PUT /learn/v1/enrollments`, though I’m a bit lost on the details of how to actually set that up via Connect. Also open to other

Hello, How do I access the ecommerce settings to restrict e-commerce countries and to customize the dropdown field on the checkout page? Currently, there are 50+ countries to chose from, but we only need USA and Canada. Thanks,Renee

If we use POST /manage/v1/user/batch only to import users into pre-existing branches (without creating new branches in the same call), is it safe to run concurrent requests? {username: xxxxbranch_name: xxxxbranch_code: xxxxoptions:{force_create_branches: false}} Here is the API Document information:Batch endpointsRegarding the rules described previously for HTTP request verbs, some exceptions apply to certain endpoints used for bulk creation or updating of resources. In these cases, HTTP POST calls may also be used to update existing resources and create new ones in the same API call. The aim of this is to minimize the number of API calls done by the client and to exploit the chunking mechanism of the operations inherent in this type of call as much as possible. These endpoints are normally identified by the suffix /batch:POST https://yourdomain.docebosaas.com/manage/v1/user/batchPlease note:You cannot send concurrent calls for batch APIs. API call limitationsTo maintain optimum perfor

We can config the Certificate template on UI, and set the certificate number on the template. Can we get the certificate records by API? And How can we get the certificate number by API?

Does anybody know of a reliable offline method to convert the JSON responses from the Docebo API browser to CSV file or Excel sheet? The Power Query in Excel is NOT working. Uploading a JSON file with Corporate data is NOT an option!

Hi there,I was wondering if it’s possible to integrate Docebo Learn with WeChat app? Has this been done before?

We have the LinkedIn Learning integration with around 400 courses imported into our platform and weaved throughout our learning plans etc. We’d like to explore the option of learners browsing the LI library of courses THROUGH docebo without having to import a course into the platform, similar to how we browse as administrators. Essentially, we want the experience of THIS page without the import option for them and serve as a window. Additionally, we’ve created a LinkedIn Learning Catalogue which surfaces all 10,000+ courses, but when they are imported they don’t align with our metadata and we’re aware that LI courses aren’t updated automatically etc and risk duplication if imported courses. This is becoming a bit of a headache, and wondered if anyone has experienced the same OR if mass import is the way to go OR just let learners run free and put processes in place to maintain data integrity. Thanks all!(We also toyed with applying code to hide the import button, but was told this woul

Hello everyone,Brand new to Docebo here. I’m a Salesforce admin and we’re using Docebo Connect to create Users and Enrollments in Docebo. I’m using Docebo Connect (Workato).I’m using the “Enroll User into a Course” Action in Connect / Workato. It gives me the option to set “Date Begin Validity” (date) and “Date End Validity” (date). The Date Begin Validity works, except it’s a day before. I assume this is a timezone / UTC issue. The Date End Validity never is set, and I can’t figure out why. When I do it via the UI, I can set both fields to a date/time with timezone.Has anyone figured out how to do this via Connect?Thank you!

Hi everyone,I’m currently exploring different use cases for the API Platform capabilities inside Docebo Connect and would love to hear how other teams are leveraging it.If you've built custom endpoints or exposed Workato workflows as APIs through Docebo Connect: What specific problem or workflow were you solving? What system/tool was triggering or consuming those APIs? Even a quick 2-line summary of your setup would be super helpful to get some inspiration! Thanks in advance for sharing your experience!

Has anyone had any experience with integrating Docebo to a CPE Credentialing Tool such as CPEdge / Checkpoint? We are in the process of determining our future state solution for managing this and would love to discuss how other organizations have managed this for their Tax and Accounting professionals within the tool.

My API integration to delete an instructor from session gives me 404 - Permission denied response.I believe PU has all the necessary permissions, here is the profile permission assigned to PU.the session was created by the PU with instructor.api:  /course/v1/instructors/removepayload: {"items":[{"id":XX}],"options":{"instructors":[NNNN],"type":"session"}}postman response:{    "name": "Forbidden",    "message": [        "Permission denied"    ],    "code": 0,    "status": 403}all other parts seems to be working with PU credentials ie:create session, events, creates user, enroll etc..appreciate any help!

What Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) is everyone using for their platform?

Hallo,Has anyone had any experience using CloudShare together with Docebo. We would like to host VLTs for software products. Hosted on  Docebo but using CloudShare in order to be able to acces VMs. Idea being that each user has his own instance of teh software on a VMMany ThanksMatthew

We're working on connecting a Unity-based VR training application to Docebo (Axcelis University) so that the VR application can send xAPI statements and track learner completion data. We're currently stuck on the authentication/configuration portion of the integration and would appreciate any suggestions from others who have implemented something similar. What We've ConfirmedThe Unity application appears to be successfully generating and attempting to send xAPI statements.  Communication is reaching the Docebo environment, but authentication is failing.  The error being returned is: unauthorized_client "The grant type is unauthorized for this client_id" The OAuth application is involvedWhat We've TriedReviewed the Unity-side OAuth configuration. Attempted to connect using multiple Docebo URLs and connection settings.  Created and tested a Docebo Connect recipe. Verified that the connector was originally intended to support external content/API integrations.  Investigated whether the

Hello Docebo Community!I’m exploring the use of Connect, not for interacting with external applications but specifically for workflows within Docebo itself. Our current challenge is setting up a process where certain courses become available to users only at specific intervals after their hire date—for example, some courses at 60 days and others at 90 days. We want to ensure these courses are inaccessible before those timeframes. From what I’ve gathered, using APIs seems like the only way to achieve this (I only recently discovered APIs, so I’m still learning!). However, I’m struggling to find clear guides or resources on how to use Connect effectively within Docebo for this type of setup. If anyone has tips, resources, or advice on how to get started, I’d greatly appreciate it. Honestly, I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed but eager to learn!Thank you in advance for your help. 😊

Hi everyone, I’m Elvin Torres-Alicea from the Docebo Support team and I would like to share this informational guide on how to obtain an access token using a JWT Bearer Grant Type Via Postman The guide will assume that you already have postman installed on your computer and have the API and SSO app is installed on your LMS platform. More information on how to get an authentication token on the following KB.https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020082060-APIs-Authentication Downloading postman:https://www.postman.com/downloads/ Please see the attachment’s section below to download the document. More Knowledge base articles for API:https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020082040-API-General-Information Feedback/QuestionsWe’d love to hear your thoughts on this guide and if it was helpful for you. Our business is arranging a call with our CSM relating to MFA, but I thought I’d also check-in here to see if any fellow Docebo users have, or have solved, a similar issue. Our company has roughly 2500 global employees, so not small but not huge by some standards. Basically, we use our LMS for employees but also sell courses to our customers. We supply to the MOD (Ministry of Defence) and to work with them we have to apply for Cyber Eseentials Plus, and as part of this users need MFA. We can sort MFA via Azure for employees who are on our network, but our branches in South America, Australia and Malaysia for example are not. We also need to implement for external customers. Therefore to implement MFA, we need to look at 3rd party providers. Our Network Manager has looked at providers such as OKTA, but the annual cost was well into six figures. I was wondering whether any of your businesses have had a similar issue, because MFA is going to become increasingly imperative. Has anyone mana

Hi - Is anyone else experiencing this?We use 1 service email account for our Outlook Connect Integration. We paired that MS Teams account in Docebo VILT Microsoft Teams to automate the meeting link process. The generated meeting invites (Outlook and MS Teams) are missing Meeting Options. Having the options would allow us to assign instructors and others as co-organizers so they can start and manage the meetings on their own. As it is now, we have to start EVERY meeting for them. The alternative to bypass thisWe have to manually create all invites and paste the meeting link URLs using the custom tool this creates 2 identical invites on our calendar for every meeting it turns an automated process into a manual one Even if we use the instructors created meeting links instead, it creates 2 invites for them and it’s confusing to maintain and change manage with a large instructor schedule. We have 30-40+ individuals who will be creating ILT courses, sessions and events. Individually pairing

Currently, our organization uses extended enterprise to offer online courses to staff and sell courses to the public. Right now, we use a separate point-of-sale system and API to handle online course purchases from the public as we sell other items, such as admission tickets. If you have e-commerce turned on, is it automatically turned on for all your domains? E.g. would internal staff need to go through the payment process (even if it is “free” or have a coupon making it free) in order to enroll in a course? Or, can you set it up so that e-commerce is activated only on a subdomain?
