Configuration & Settings

A customer of us pointed out that our Google Search Result is not optimal. We checked and indeed, our Google Entry looks weird, see belowThe Title “Cyber Defense Awareness Trainings” that we defined within Docebo is picked up by google, but everything else is not visible. We contacted support and they advice us to use the SEO Settings, that is part of the ecommerce App. First of all, it is a bit weird that we need to install something, to make sure that Google gets all needed information and that we then need to install an app (ecommerce) that we do not use.We do not use Google Analytics on the platformI already saw other customers that have the same issue and I am interested to know if other customers within the community also have the same issue…Cheers,Johfra

We currently have the Maximum number of consecutive failed sign-in attempts set to five. We recently learned that when this threshold is reached, Docebo blocks the originating public IP address for 10 minutes, not just the individual user account. We expect some clients to have between 500 and 1,000 learners, or even more potentially accessing the platform through the same corporate network. During a coordinated launch, several learners could enter incorrect passwords within a short period and unintentionally trigger a lockout affecting everyone on that network. For organizations supporting large learner populations, what maximum number of failed attempts have you configured? Have you experienced shared public-IP lockouts, and would you recommend a threshold such as 50 or 100?It would also be helpful to confirm whether a successful login resets the failed-attempt counter for the public IP and whether failed attempts across different usernames are aggregated.

Hi all, Hope, everyone is ready for Christmas. Not sure if anybody else had this problem, but it looks like it applies to all platforms (we work with multiple customers). When you complete an observation checklist, the text colour is the default colour in your system. However, when you try to access any completed observation checklist, the text colour of the responses is changed to light grey and makes it very very difficult to read the responses and not very good for accessibility purposes. Docebo advised to change the text colour of the checklist responses with CSS, but I find it difficult to locate an identifier that targets the checklist responses. Could you please help? Thanks in advance,Gigi

Is anyone aware of a login limit per unit of time?I have had some issues with users getting denied with a message saying maximum number of attempts reached. Try again in 10 minutes. This is not a case of messing up the password beyond the number of failed attempts I have set but a message on the first attempt. It comes up around the beginning of each month when I push out the monthly safety compliance training. We then have a bunch of folks trying to log in at the same time and different folks each month have the issue.

Reaching out to the community here, as we are feeling pretty defeated. The core problem is that Docebo’s Power User model is largely static and manually maintained, while our use case requires reusable profiles, dynamic branch scoping, profile-based automation, and MCP support. Our structure includes:Three branches: Internal employees, Partners, and Customers Different admin levels within each branch Reporting-only leaders who need Insights access Admins who need to manage users, groups, courses, learning plans, or enrollments Customer and partner managers who should be restricted to their own group or branchOur main challenges are:Assigning a Power User profile does not automatically assign all required user, course, and learning-plan resources. Only one Power User profile can be assigned to a user, so we cannot easily combine permissions for people with multiple responsibilities. Power User profiles cannot be used as criteria for dynamic groups, which prevents us from automating profil

Is there a way to adjust the Branding of the Learning impact Evaluation Report sent to instructors after a course. as seen in the image?

Hey All! Since the recent update, we are getting blank boxes where there should be clickable icons. This is what it looks like: I have tried clearing history and cache as well as multiple changes in CSS, but nothing seems to stick. It will revert back for a few hours or a day, but always goes back to these boxes. Any help from the community on how we can get this fixed? Thanks!

Issue 1: Upload Manager Not Working for One UserOne of our Power Users is unable to upload banner images using the new Upload Manager. The upload never starts, regardless of the image selected. However, I can upload successfully using both my account and hers, so the issue appears to be specific to her user profile.Issue 2: Unable to Reuse Existing ImagesThe new Upload Manager no longer lets me browse and select previously uploaded images. Instead, I have to upload the same image again each time, creating duplicates. This makes it difficult to manage media assets, as there doesn't seem to be a way to browse, reuse, replace, rename, or delete existing files.Has anyone else experienced these issues or found a workaround?

Is it possible to adjust the Agenda view to fit to the size of the number of upcoming sessions? It looks awkward to have all this white space.

Hello and thank you in advance!Where do I find the web server address for adding images to an iframe in a html widget?I’m vague on where it may be. Is there a place where I can view the path of all images uploaded across the platform?I know where to upload images for courses and widgets and went to the image UI for both, I get lost from there.Thank you again for your time! nick

Hello,Can you please provide information on how we can disable the Ask the Expert function?Thank you,Teresa

Hello everyone,We’re revamping out badges this year and I was wondering if there is a way to display the badges bigger inside the widget used on the dashboard? Currently, the badges are displaying very small. Any writing that may be on them is essentially not visible. We were hoping to be able to label the badges so it is not just a generic icon. ie. A First Aid Certificate badge would have an icon but it would also say First Aid on it visibly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, How do you add closed captions to a video in a Creator lesson? I see there’s a keyboard shortcut to toggle on/off CC but can’t for the life of me find a way to include a VTT or SRT file.

I recently set myself up as an instructor of an ILT to test out the feature, and when I went to view my Task List widget, suddenly Assigned Courses was showing up, despite that not being checked on the Task List options. Help!

Does anyone know of a way to mass update enrollments on a course to be marked with the new “Enrollment Priority” of “Required” via API? I know I can do it course by course (see screenshots below). However, we have a big gap right now where we enroll new hires into a Learning Plan of their relevant courses and while we can mark the Learning Plan as Required, it doesn’t cascade down to the individual courses. Docebo claims thats intentional behavior, but now we don’t have a way for learners (or admins running reports) to see that those individual courses within an LP are indeed required. It would be awesome to be able to batch update enrollments for multiple courses at once to include the Required Enrollment Priority.I created an idea here to see if we could get the option to cascade a Learning Plan’s Enrollment Priority to courses within the Learning Plan, but for now I need a workaround. Does anyone know a way to have the API browser bulk update the Enrollment Priority on enrollments f

I have a course within a learning plan that is locked for only certain employees not all employees. The course in the learning plan is showing (below) that the Subscription is Not Active and on the admin side it says Locked The enrollment settings are where they should be, they are set to self-enrollment options. The catalogs assigned are also correct. The learning plan also is set to where there are no prerequisites or that they have to follow a certain order of courses. The course does not have any codes enabled. What else can I check to try to get this open to all employees?

We have had a small, but increasing amount of issues where a user will say they are not able to log in. We have Okta so users see the page with the SAML SSO button, when a user clicks it pops up with the Okta verifying animation, and then returns them to the same SAML SSO page. This is happening to new and existing users. We have had users open up incognito browsers and they still experience the same loop.Luckily, we discovered that if a user pastes the url to the my courses page it will let them in. The next time a user clicks in the SAML SSO button login works as expected. However, this is a workaround and not a fix.Has anyone else experienced this and identified the issue? I have tried opening up a ticket, but they act like it is an individual issue. Waiting for a user to experience the issue and then having them paste in a url is not a good introduction/overall UX of Docebo.

Hi Docebo Community,I’m currently exploring and testing the Communities feature in the LMS and had a quick question.Since we’re supporting a global audience, I was wondering if it’s possible to publish an article in multiple languages—similar to how course names and descriptions can be localized across the platform.I also checked with Harmony, but couldn’t get a clear answer, so I’m guessing this might not (yet) be supported. We offer all our content in 21 languages, so creating separate articles for each language wouldn’t really be sustainable—and it would also make audience management quite complex.Does anyone know if this is possible today, or would this need to be raised as a feature request? Thanks a lot for your help!Best,Dominik

Is there a way to have multiple languages for a LP description? I need to show the LP description in English and French.

Hi all, Does anyone have experience setting up a 2nd sandbox environment? We want to make some widespread platform changes and would love to build this out slowly and intentionally, with thorough testing, while retaining the existing production site and sandbox. Has anyone done this for a similar purpose, or found alternate ways to approach a comprehensive redesign? Thanks for any advice!

With the new multilanguage support, the way the documentation reads at times is that the Title/summary/descriptions will machine translate in platform from the default language.  When you select ‘manage translations’ and select the applicable languages, the action button even says ‘TRANSLATE’ on it.  But it seems that it only creates a page for the admin to manually paste in these components.  Am I missing something? Assuming the above is correct, and admins need to enter in the translated fields, are these able to be imported by CSV or API vs manually being pasted in?

I would like to create training material via the Training Material (ex. Central Repository) page. However, I do not have the icon in the top right corner to do this i.e the plus sign in a circle. I have used this facility on many occasions in the past with no problems but haven’t used it for some time.  What am I doing wrong?

I found the helpful template shared by @SuperShauneDocebian five years ago (thank you , it was a great starting point and confirmed the approach works in principle). That template is a clean single-column layout: one header image, a text block, a bullet list, and a footer. It works well and I can see why it's been a go-to.What we're trying to do is a step up in complexity, and I'm running into a wall I'd love community input on.We built a fully branded HTML newsletter to communicate platform updates to our power users and managers as part of a broader strategy to increase adoption.  The HTML is significantly more complex than the shared template. Roughly 600+ lines of fully inline-styled code, 5 major sections each with multiple sub-sections, 6 alert box styles with colored `bgcolor` backgrounds on `<td>` elements, 4 externally-hosted screenshots via Docebo's CDN, and a VML gradient header for Outlook compatibility. All styling is inline (no `<style>` tags) and layout uses

We are having persistent 500 errors for all PU trying to access the Learning Plans tab through My Activities for every one of their assigned users. I’ve recorded videos demonstrating the errors picking random PU from our platform and random of their assigned users. Is there anybody else experiencing those errors?I cannot believe that Docebo support came back to me that it will be fixed after 1 week?!?!?! It was working before. It’s not a new feature - how can they just break Core functionalities to live platforms without any regard to paying customers?

Hey All,Has anyone used extended enterprise to give users access to training before their start date? We import new users from a CSV output from workday (We do not have the workday connection). If we add a personal email field to their user profile would we be able to merge them once they have started? Looking for recommendations on how to implement this.
