I work in healthcare and my Chief Medical Officer would like his Administrative Assistant to have the ability to view all of the same training records he can so that she can follow up with members that have not completed training. Is there a way to do that?

Options:

  1. Make the Administrative Assistant a power user with report permissions and resource access to the CMO’s team/branch. The Administrative Assistant will not have the “My Team” access but can get the same information in reports.
  2. Use alternate manager and align all the CMO’s team to the Administrative Assistant to mirror the team. Then the assistant could use My Team as well.
  3. Make the Administrative Assistant a power user with the ability to impersonate the CMO. This is the riskiest of the options because anything the Assistant does while logged in as the CMO will appear to be done as the CMO.

I think there is an idea to delegate My Team functionality, you would have to look for it.

You can setup the assistant with the same power user profile and resources to see the same records.

Much depends on how the CMO is seeing the records. If it is due to Direct Manager settings then you could setup another manager with the same settings.

@TLPottratz Hello

You want to be careful to NOT grant superadmin access to too many people. It opens your platform completely and could be seen as a security violation.

Probably the best approach for both your CMO and his admin is to create a Power User profile that provides the access they need to see the progress of their users, create reports, create accounts, etc...whatever those permissions are that you want.

Here’s a KB article to get you started … https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020081500-Creating-and-managing-Power-Users.  There are courses in DU that discuss this as well.
