Learning Evaluations for ILT

I have a question about Learning Evaluations (LEs) for ILTs with multiple sessions.

If I create an LE and add it only to the ILT course, but don't go into each individual session and add it there as a requirement to complete the session, will the LE automatically be sent to learners after they complete their session?

Or do I need to add the LE to each session individually for learners to receive it after the session is completed?

We are only interested to survey the ILT at course level not each session.

I have a survey as the last item of the Training Materials in the ILT. It can also serve as a completion requirement.

You just need to add it the the course. Learners will be sent a survey for each session . You can then choose to look at the results as a whole course with all session, or view each session individually.

The way we’ve done it is we have created a learning plan where the ILT is the first course and the survey is the second course which unlocks once the first course is done. Then we set a notification to go out telling people that the survey is unlocked for them.

Also works well for having an exam at the end of an ILT.

@truffino I like this solution if the completion of the learning plan is the trigger for a certification of completion for the ‘course’.

The reason we add our surveys as training material is because our learning plans can be complex and not always competed. Receiving a certificate upon course completion of all the materials ensures they fill out the survey.
