Hi All,

We've got a few new visuals and images to place on top of our LMS homepage. I’ve tried using HTML and iframe widgets, but it doesn’t look granular. I’d like to add a pop-up box at the top of the home page with visuals. So, whenever our learners land on the home page, the new visuals should pop up to them with a close (x) button. Did anyone create pop-up box in Docebo?

I appreciate your advice for using CSS and HTML.

Attached sample snapshot (Should display with image, not text).

Hi - some bad news - putting a modal popup on the front page (or for any page) is a challenge….there is a request for something like this in the idea side of the portal. Modal pop-up meaning you can dismiss it with the click of the X.

BUT if you want to put a box of text and a button in an HTML widget that wont dismiss, you can have better luck.

And one other note - yeah no problem about images in that HTML widget….

Came here to say the same thing as above, we’ve exhausted our options to put modal’s / pop-up messaging in place, nothing we could implement. We have an HTML/CSS carousel for messaging with five slots and a static image for long term attention on something specific all using HTML widgets.

For those less technical? Comslider seems to have stabilized as of lately as we have seen fewer errors from their platform into 2024 - on @Jenna M. note - it may be an interesting alternative and is a low tech solution but looks and it acts wonderful.

I tried using the HTML/CSS carousel with widgets...However, we would like to use some modal popups this time, but feedback indicates that they would be unsuccessful.

@dklinger Thanks for your insights. I cannot sign-up with Comslider and need to check.
