Hello Docebo Community,
On the 24th July, one of our customers noticed a drop in the Docebo visits tracking from Google Analytics 4.
Since then, when the Google Analytics property is opened, it always shows 0 activities happening on Docebo, even though that information does not correspond to reality.
Putting it simply, the tracking has not been working since July 24th, even though nothing happened on that specific day that may have affected the connection between Docebo and Google Analytics.
Further details:
1. No changes to the configurations of Google Analytics in Docebo were made since last year, erasing this as a potential source of the issue.
2. The Google Analytics code remains the same; no changes were made to the configurations either.
3. Docebo's console seems to be working correctly.
4. We carried out a test by opening the 'Network' tab on the browser. We noticed that when we clicked on a page in Docebo, the logs were being registered. That leads us to believe that Docebo is passing the information, but GA is not receiving it or registering it.
5. We have checked the cookie acceptance, and it is within the normal range, which means that we are receiving traffic normally
Below are some of the things that we already tried:
1. A new Google Analytics project was created and linked with the staging environment to test - the test was successful. This means that there is no issue fetching the activity that happens on the staging environment.
2. A new property on Google Analytics was generated and linked to Production - this test did not work, and we are still not able to fetch information from Docebo's production.
Has anyone come across this issue?
If yes, how did you manage to solve it, and which suggestions do you have?
Thank you so much for your help!
