Are you able to click into the data reported via Google Analytics?  For example, click into the ‘New Users’ and see the list of names for new users?  Thanks

Hey there,

No, Google won’t collect that data for you. Privacy protection doesnt allow them to store that kind of data generally. You would likely need another platform loaded on top like Marketing Cloud Personalization that might be able to let you know user information if they are logged in.

Morning - where John is correct? Dont give up on Google Analytics. They are really decent and one of the few things that can help you literally have stats in your pocket about your learning platform.

To @johnmohr ‘s note, certain details won't be stored in Google Analytics that will come back from the browser, but you can drill in to understand hourly activity, live activity (if you can believe it), geographically where people are logging in from and a host of other detail.

The only thing that I think can be “a rub” that needs to be navigated is when you look at your audiences, and how sessions/new users happened during any given point - simply because they are governed by a different “core” logic. But I think if you put up google analytics right next to the user session detail getting to you from the learning system. You would be happy to find where it can fit in as a data solution.
