Add A GIF to Homepage

I am having trouble getting a gif to sit on my homepage, created in canva, need to just display no play buttons etc. Can someone please assist?

Hello, check to make sure the file you publish and download is .gif filetype. If not it will be just a video .mp4 with playback buttons.

To test, you should be able to open the file on your computer and it should continually loop on it’s own with no playback buttons. If you still see the playback buttons, check settings in Canva to disable. (I thought it did this anyway).

Once you have the file playback as expected then it’s ready to upload to Docebo. Add a HTML widget. Go into WYSIWYG mode and select insert image from the toolbar. Follow the prompts to upload your image. Select the image (gif) you uploaded, then save and preview. You may need to resize the image in WYSIWYG mode to get it how you want. BTW, you can also copy the URL in the last step after selecting the image and use that elsewhere on the platform, thereby “hosting” the gif on Docebo.
