Anyone know how to get rid of the “Optional Courses” section in the learning plan player? We have no optional courses so this is pointless. I also would like to get rid of the time counter as it is not accurate and is causing confusion.

@Jfarnlof Did you find a fix? Thanks!

We use the following code to hide the optional course area by default on all our learning plans - and then we do unhide it on specific ones by using the a specific class on the course description.
We do make our CSS very specific, but if your conventions differ, the last class (.dcb-te-content-details-widget-item-optional) is what you’re looking for.

lrn-content-overview[class^="lrn-learning-plan-overview-"] .lrn-widget-learning-plan-progression-status li.dcb-te-content-details-widget-item-optional {
display: none;
}

Hope this helps!
