Display a due date in courses and learning place

We are soc2 audited and are failing to meet requirements of having a completed by or due date for courses and learning plans.  The soft deadline does not work as you can only select a date, selecting a timeframe such as 60days would be more beneficial, some of our courses are assigned by start date or when a person moves to a new role so the soft date has expired before they are even enrolled into the course.

I have worked with a few LMS systems and this is the first system that does not have a completed by date.

@G11378 Just a thought and not sure if this helps but have you looked into using the Enrollment validity period for courses and setting the calculation by first access date?
Also, you could support this with reminder notifications that the course is yet to complete.

Hi

Thank you for the suggestion, and did explore this, however we want people to able to access the course/learning plan at any time, setting a validity date means they are unable to access the course/learning plan once the date has expired.

@G11378 No but the start calculation is triggered from the first access so wouldn’t that be ideal for you then as it’s based on the learners activity and not from the enrollment?
