API for Course editing restrictions

Hello,

I use API to create a course. I’m doing it using the superadmin’s profile. However, when the course is created, power users cannot edit its properties, even when they have edit permissions on all courses. The course also is not listed in the “Courses” search result. Power users are able to see/edit all the other courses, except the ones I create with the superadmin’s profile using API.

Maybe the “course editing restrictions” (https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020128759-Managing-properties-for-courses#h_01KAB4082D318X992GWFNW1N0C) has been activated by default because I created the course with a superadmin’s profile?

I cannot find anything in the documentation that will explain how to turn off this feature to make the course editable by powerusers?!

Thanks

I’m not sure if it’s set by default via the API, but you can confirm if it’s active and turn it off from the Details tab on the Course.  It’s at the very bottom.

I want to do it using the API, not the UI.

You might want to reach out to support.  That’s a relatively new field and I don’t think it’s returned on the course info end point yet, but they would be able to tell you for sure.
