Issues with Captivate 2019 SCORM 1.2 courses are not bookmarking

We are mid-implementation and we are finding that our SCORM 1.2 courses developed in Captivate 2019 are not offering the user the option to Resume Where They Left Off.

We have verified that the courses are published with bookmarking turned on.

Has anyone had this issue?

Is there some type of log so that we can see the bookmarking data being sent by the course to Docebo?

Any help or Guidance would be appreciated.

@RonB Hi, Ron.  Have you tested a different version of Scorm? Say, Scorm 2004 v3?  1.2 is pretty slim on what it sends to the LMS.  You may need to republish as a different version (I know, ugly).

As for your specific questions you can try looking in Course Management > Reports > Training Materials > the link to see if you can find anything there.  I think you need to look at the traffic for an individual person. Been awhile since I’ve looked for this, so you might need to dig around a bit.

@RonB - hi - @KMallette has the best idea.

But I would add to try a course in SCORM Cloud and monitor all of logs. Perhaps try a few of the compatibility modes for the course player to see if it works better.

Let me know if you are not able to find what @KMallette described. It can feel buried a bit, but it is retrievable.

@dklinger and @KMallette, we have a case open with Docebo support, SCORM 1.2 courses are bookmarking on SCORM Cloud and on Saba.  Just not Docebo.

@KMallette and @dklinger Thought I would close this one out, Docebo 3rd level support did something and now it working. 😁

Thanks @RonB ! What you describe always worries me a little bit. I wonder what they did?

@dklinger From 3rd level support:

After an analysis from our development team, we got confirmation that a feature toggle that had to be enabled in order for this specific SCORM files to be tracked correctly.”
