Docebo announces acquisition of Edugo.AI

I’m thrilled to announce today that we’re significantly enhancing our AI capabilities with the acquisition of Edugo.AI, a cutting-edge AI-based learning technology that leverages generative AI and advanced algorithms to accelerate and improve the learning experience. 

Generative AI is shaping the future. We also recognize the critical role it plays today in our customers’ ability to access the full value of learning technology. Integrating Edugo’s technology into our learning platform will allow us to accelerate our AI innovation roadmap in strategically critical areas and deliver powerful innovations that will help our customers deliver exceptional learner experiences while dramatically reducing administrative work through automation. 

We’re boldly entering a new era, where the transformative power of generative AI will shape future product development. We’re excited at the seemingly endless possibilities this opens up for our learning platform and our customers. And we’ve already got some exciting developments in the works.

“Like what?” You might be wondering. 

Well, over the next year, you can expect to see the enhancement of generative AI in Docebo Shape to enable the generation of rich and engaging content more quickly and efficiently using generative AI prompts. You’ll also see AI being leveraged in skill tagging to automatically match ontologies and ensure consistency across systems. 

Longer term, we’ll deliver the capability to provide solution-specific virtual simulations (starting with sales enablement), allowing learners to practice soft skills with AI providing feedback. In addition, learning paths will adapt to the learner based on their content interaction in the platform for hyper-personalized learning experiences. We’ll also apply AI to semantic search for improved content accessibility and embedded search functionality that will enhance the dependability and rapidity of search results based on the learner's needs. 

And that’s just the beginning!

I’m also pleased to share that Edugo Founder & CEO, Giuseppe Tomasello, along with his team, will be joining Docebo. We’re excited about the addition of these incredibly talented people, their highly specialized skills, and their extensive knowledge of generative AI technology.
