We’re excited to have you in the Product Design Group dedicated to improving Docebo’s MCP Server.

The current public beta enables your enterprise AI assistant to access your learning content directly, without requiring learners to switch to your LMS. Your insights, ideas, and feedback will play a role in shaping future MCP capabilities.

What you can do

Learners can ask questions like below inside your AI assistant (e.g., Copilot or ChatGPT):

  • "What courses have I completed?"
  • "Based on my completed courses, what advanced leadership courses should I take next?"
  • "I am interested in data privacy. What courses do we have available?"

The goal is to make learning accessible wherever work happens.

What we’re validating

  • Accuracy and grounding of responses
  • Permission enforcement
  • Real-world learner value
  • Enterprise AI integration viability

How to participate

  • Use Docebo via MCP in real workflows
  • Share what works and what doesn’t
  • Post examples of prompts
  • Join biweekly office hours

Hi! Love this feature. Is there any way to test the MCP in Cursor IDE or other clients (e..g Gemini CLI)? Love the concept but would love to expand the MCP client list a bit if possible.

Hi @jongrinnell, you can use any MCP client with the Docebo MCP Server. The configuration guide in the Docebo Developer Portal covers the most common client we’ve tested (ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot), but you can connect any MCP client by following that client’s instructions. If you run into any issues, feel free to contact our support team.

Ah, ok, I was able to get it working locally. Thanks.
