In this month’s roundup, you’ll find more information on:
Hi everyone! It’s official that I’m taking over these posts for Sam while she is out on maternity leave. BUT my posts will start in May as Sam was kind enough to write up her very last release post so I’m posting this one on her behalf. 🙂
Docebo Community, as I write this article, I bid you farewell (for just a little while, I’ll be back before you know it!) and also assure you that I’m leaving you in the excellent hands. So with that being said, let me not delay any longer in chatting product updates this month:

Adding a First and Last Name in Course Reports
Alright let’s face it, usernames can get pretty creative (I had one back in university that involved a combination of my star sign and my favorite fruit). It’s all fun and games until you’ve got a long list of usernames without any indication of who the actual individual is that represents that username and the data. It makes drilling down on user statistics a little tricky.
With this new feature, you now have the ability to view first and last name in the User Statistics tab of Course Reports as selectable columns. In addition, Admins and Power Users can choose the columns they’d like to display and the exported file will reflect that selection.
Want to see?
Navigate to Course Management > Reports > User Statistics
Click on the Column Selector icon indicated by red arrow

What you’ll see are columns that are available and flagged by default and right there (in the red box) you’ll be able to select the First Name and Last Name.
Bonus: The First and Last Name columns are also sortable!
Note: The Username cannot be unchecked.

Go.Learn: Support Channels Filter Inside a Q&A Widget
Now we get that Q&As sections are a great way to nurture user engagement - imagine your learners being able to view content and then instantly address all of their questions regarding the topic. With this new feature update on the mobile app, you’ll be able to create customized pages with not just specific channels but also encourage engagement with channel relevant Q&A widgets!

Default Values for Course Enrollment Start and End of Validity
Now I think you’ve heard me say this a million times, but we love easing things up for admins out there and this update will do just that. When you select the start or end of a validity date of a course’s enrollment, the current time is taken as the value, which is great but let’s face it, that is almost never the accurate start and end time for anything you are about to set in our system. We get it! So with this update, the default time will always be 00:00:00 as the start time and 23:59:59 as the end, which you can then edit to your preference. This applies even If you are editing the enrollment of a user
Here’s a quick glimpse:

WebEx XML API Update
For those of you using Webex Meetings, Training, and Event Center for web training through Docebo for Webex XML APIs, your platform will now need to integrate with the NEW Webex REST API to assure your users can keep accessing live training sessions directly in webinar courses in their Docebo platforms, as Webex is deprecating the XML APIs product.
Please note: As per our post, Phase I was released on April 12 and Phase II was originally planned for April 26, however, Phase II has been delayed to April 28.
Google Analytics 4
For the customers using Docebo for Google Analytics to collect data on the platform usage, rejoice! You will now have the ability to integrate with the new Docebo for Google Analytics 4 to keep integrating with Google Analytics and keep those insights flowing in. The new GA4 app will technically work in the same way as the previous GA integration, with the same Docebo events being tracked in this one as well. That being said, Google Analytics 4 will behave differently than Universal Analytics, so to fully understand the differences between these solutions, we suggest you read this guide published by Google: Comparing metrics: Google Analytics 4 vs Universal Analytics.
Zoom V3 (coming April 28)
What would we do without Zoom these days? I have no idea - all I know is that with this release we have a new version of the Zoom integration that will provide you a more seamless experience!
An easier and quicker configuration process of the app will save you time and effort.
Here are a few more nuggets you get with this updated integration:
-
The capabilities will now cover breakout rooms and a better experience when configuring Zoom instructor accounts
-
Enhanced reporting capabilities with the retrieval of attendees’ data from each meeting or webinar session onto Docebo Learn’s - say “Goodbye” to manually marking attendance
-
Tracking the actual time spent in a meeting or in a webinar session can now be accessed in the Docebo Learn reporting section
If this isn’t magic, I don’t know what is!

🤓 Give me the details
For those of you interested in the all the nitty gritty, here’s all that’s changing in the April 2023 release:

Enhancements to the User Statistics tab of the Course Report
You can customize the layout of the data shown in the User Statistics tab of the Course Report and of the corresponding exported file thanks to a new column selector tool. In addition, the report can now show the users’ first and last names, aligning with the data shown in the Training Material Statistics tab of the same report.
New default values for enrollment start and end dates
When you enroll users in courses or edit course enrollments for learners and set start and end validity dates, the default dates values are now empty instead of being prefilled with the current date and the time is set to 00:00:00 for the start date and to 23:59:59 for the end date instead of being set to the current time. This enhancement offers more realistic values for time and reduces errors when setting dates.

Go.Learn Version 5.4.0 and Branded Mobile App Version 5.4.0 are here!
In this update, you can find the following new features and enhancements:
- For those using the OpenID Connect single sign-on on your Go.Learn or branded mobile app, we have worked on the logout from the Identity Provider. In order to benefit from this implementation, you need to add the golearn://sso_logout URL to the list of sign-out redirect URIs (also called logout redirect URIs or callback URLs) on the Identity Provider configuration page. This is necessary both for Go.Learn and for the branded app.
- For those using the Questions & Answers widget, when configuring the widget via the Manage Pages menu, please note that the Filter by Channel setting is now applicable also to the mobile app, so you are able to pre-filter the content shown in the widget according to the channel you want to display. This allows you to create highly customized Question & Answers widgets for a customized user experience on the mobile app.
Furthermore, as always, a handful of minor issues have been addressed to give you a better, smoother learning experience on mobile.

Shopify connector update
For those using the Shopify connector in Docebo Connect, please note that a breaking change has been introduced by an API change and as a result this connector requires an immediate update to resume functionality. For more information, please see Shopify API version upgrade.
⚠️ Heads up for Docebo Learn
