Is there anyway to put alternative wording for when there are no sessions scheduled? It is not a great customer experience to see “Whoops, there are no sessions yet for this course - Please contact your Administrator or the course instructor” - especially when there is no area enter contact information and make it visible on the Session tab of the course.

If there is nothing that can be done, can we at least have the sessions tab not show up automatically when there are no sessions added?

The Localization Tool allows you to reword just about any bit of copy in the UI, it should be possible to do something for this scenario.

Thank you so much. Will try this!

The only option I have under localization tool is to pick a language. Am I missing something? I haven’t explored this area before so I’m a little hesitant to click around.

No worries! What you need to do is select e.g. English (assuming that’s your default language) and then it will allow you to provide custom copy for the English layer of the UI. You would search for the particular line you want to change (e.g. “Whoops, there are no sessions yet for this course”), and then enter a “translation” of your own.

If you have any other languages enabled on your platform, you’d want to do the same thing for each one of those. What we’re doing here is not, I suppose, the primary use case for the localization tool, but it is nonetheless a good and common way to work around these types of issues with Docebo’s default copy.

This worked perfectly! Thank you so much for this work around. Much appreciated.
